Nano ClearSponge, Renew Watch Scratches

Scratch repair
I scratched the brushed finish on the case of my watch. The watch is very high-end and I’m still sick about it. I use this to kind of blend the scratch and it worked very well to camouflage the damage so the naked eye it’s very unnoticeable and probably the best option versus sending it to a jeweler. I would suggest trying this product if you have a similar incident.

Works after a fashion
I have a Rolex brushed stainless oyster strap. It had some light scratching. This sponge did a good job of abrading the stainless steel enough to disguise the scratches and renew the brushed surface. You have to be very disciplined about brushing in a straight line and lifting the sponge at the end of each stroke. Don’t be tempted to just go back and forth. Start with light pressure and work up, so you get the finish you want.My sense is that if you keep going too long, this sponge will actually end up smoothing out the brushed finish, giving it an unwelcome sheen. This is why I say it disguises light scratching, rather than correcting it. For that you need to send your watch back to the maker. In my opinion, this sponge is a good working fix. It certainly improved the appearance of my strap. It’s a lot of money for an abrasive sponge, but you’re paying for the correct grit level to get a comparable finish to that which Rolex uses on its straps. If you have a jubilee strap or an oyster strap with polished links or a gold plated strap, this is NOT what you need. It is for brushed / matted finishes only. I strongly suspect that this is why some of the negative reviews say it ruined their straps.I am happy with my purchase and the results.

Horrible product.
Don’t waste your money. It’s basically a sponge that scratched up my watch even worse than it already is. Please don’t waste your money. I am asking for a full refund.

Works great!
Works great! My Citizen fugu was scratched up pretty good. I used this product to clean up the scratches. Slightly heavier graining than factory, but close enough for me.

Works well
Works well. Must be very careful to go in one direction only. Start with light pressure and go from there.Took the small scratch off of my wife’s brushed Oyster bracelet.

Best product I’ve found so far for brushed finish watches. You have to be very gentle with it and have a steady hand to get good results. This is not for beginners. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you can make the watch look worse than it did before. If you know what you’re doing, this is a must have.
