As a mechanical engineer working in the Merchant Navy I bought this as my fridge knowledge was getting frozen. A good reference book, for ships engineers and fridge and HVAC engineers. Worth buying.

Quality of printing is not good!

Bad diagrams, poorly written, confusing explanations, lack of diagrams, looks like its been photocopied (diagrams), its a small book with little examples, no effort has been made to label and properly denote figures in the diagram which makes it a frustrating and time consuming read. No publisher/published by amazon which says it all. Not a complete waste of money but close.

Very usefull

It's ok as a pocket reference, but very basic. the index doesn't match up to the page numbers too. Don't think I would reccomend

The content of the book is well presented and organized. Easy to follow up.

This is a book to start with when you learn about hydraulics.

Alla ricerca dei due testi di M. Winston, il volume 1 Basic e il 2 intermediate. Contrariamente alla descrizione di Amazon si tratta del volume 1 in seconda edizione. Acquistato per niente. Comunque a dare un occhiata sembra leggermente migliore rispetto alla prima edizione

Like the way book was written. Starts out with the basics and works its way towards the more technical aspects. Does not overwhelm the reader.
