Many things like this are used in ways that they were not entirely intended for - I managed to cram five plug/sockets and an adaptor (2x cctv camera power(M to F), 1x BNC (M to F), 1x BNC/Phono (M to adaptor to F) 1x phono to phone (M to F)), along with the wiring/splitting blocks and it fitted fine.I particularly like the grommets - they cut to reveal a hole of the size you require, just by selecting the appropriate step (it is obvious when you look at it, but nice to see it in use).

Used for terminating additional CCTV cables on exterior wall, wish they were available in black

I have used these for my CCTV system but I am waiting with baited breath for them to fail. The enclousure is flimsy at best and the cover could fall off easily. The waterproof points aren't great either. It's okay.

Does the job & are watertight

This should get zero stars. The items I got (4) are not as listed so are fraudulently advertised. They don't even look the same (see my pic). How the seller can claim they are weatherproof is beyond me. The thin plastic top just (loosely) clips on the box - no waterproof seal, no screws to hold it on, the sides of the "top" of box are distorted inwards so the lid doesn't even seat properly and the lid pops off at the slightest touch. I reckon a strongish wind would have it off. What could otherwise be argued to be a rain beak lip inside doesn't extend to the corners so isn't (These boxes would surely normally be mounted vertically e.g. on a wall, so there can be no excuse that water would run down past the lid. So, into the bin these go. Utter garbage for the purpose advertised.

Good product, easier to remove clip-on lid when in situ than other makes
