I've had no luck with herbal sleep remedies in the past so was really surprised to find these actually worked! I did have to take the full suggested dose of 4 mind you which makes this product more expensive then I'd like hence the 4 stars and not 5!I took one at 7and then 8 at 9 and then one at 10 just before settling into bed. By this time I genuinely felt tired and when my head hit the pillow it wanted to stay there and not fidget about as I usually do.I'd say I fell off into a natural deep sleep within the hour all the way up to 4 which is unfortunately when one of my children climbed into my bed, the sleepy effect had worn off and I woke up quite alert not groggy. I believe that I could of managed to get a few more hours unbroken sleep which is miles from my regular sleeping pattern so for me these tablets worked great! One downside is not knowing the exact amount of ingredients in this product!

I find without some sort of sleep intervention, I'm constantly waking up during the night as I get pains that disturb my sleep and once I wake up then I need the bathroom etc, so I often end up getting up 2 or 3 times a night as an average.Whilst my doctor is happy to prescribe me sleeping medication, I find most are either addictive or upset my system (I have IBS so some medications have bad side effects for me).Whereas with these tablets they are natural & non-addictive. Whilst not medically addictive, after the good night's sleep I have when taking these, they are addictive as in I can't wait to take them the next night so I can have another good nights sleep. I do love my sleep so anything that helps me achieve that is always a good thing.They have a weird smell, but that's not exclusive to these tablets. Any natural/herbal sleeping tablet seems to smell like feet & these are no exception. But, if you can hold your breath just long enough to swallow them, then they help you to not only drift off but also stay down for the night without waking up numerous times.The capsules are a little large but if I can get them down then so should everyone else be able to swallow them. I hate taking tablets but manage with these if I take them one at a time.I now wake up the next morning feeling more refreshed but also without the brain fog that prescription sleeping tablets induce.I would recommend these to anyone that wants something natural to help them sleep at night & wake up feeling like you have actually slept. They won't knock you out like prescription pills, so if you do need to wake up in the night then you won't feel drugged, but they will help you to get back to sleep again once you return to bed.Verdict:5 stars - great product, Would recommend.

I have anxiety and high adrenaline production. My nights were days and days were nights - sleep patterns all opposites - nightmare. I am on Sertraline at 25mg per day due to this. and diazapem at 2mg which i take if it gets bad. i totally didt think anything would help me relax. I took two capsules, nothing. 2 hours later i took another 2 capsules - noticed my muscles and mind slightly relaxing, 2 hrs later i took a final 2 capsules (so 6 in total), BINGO ... my muscles and facial muscle were relaxed, my mind and heart relaxed (did not even jump when some car doors slammed shut outside), my nerves were calmed and i could think slower and chill out - they dont 'knock you to sleep' - they are not a heavy sleepong tablet, but they slowly lull you into relaxtion and your body and brain are so grateful for the peace you get tired and relaxed and heavy and so sleep arrives shortly afterwards. have already recommended them to two friends. will buy forever now - even to take in day to calm you down - totally works as a sedative throughout the day :-)

These really work for me unlike so many other things so am very happy they don’t leave you sleepy the next day either and I do feel more relaxed... great if like me you are menopausal a very good product.

Not for me. Apparently, I am one of those people that valerian root produces the opsite effects (far from relaxation). I took this before go to bed and I woke up in the middle of the night with dizziness and heart palpitations.My advice is: Check valerian root side effects beforehand.

I take one of these pills most nights to relax they work brilliantly on me... two and I sleep very soundly. It's worth remembering that if you have a really busy head and are someone who goes into overdrive thinking at night, meditation may help.. try listening to Erkhat Tolle and Alan Watts.

I generally trust PUKKA products for quality but this blend did not help me sleep. It made me wide awake for most of the night and hot (like a hot flush). My research indicates that ashwagandha should be taken with breakfast, which could explain the wakefulness! If it works for you - great - but be aware that it only works for some people. We are all different.When I contacted Pukka about this I was told someone would get back to me but I have heard NOTHING!

When a GP said i will be prescribed a tranquilliser, sleeping tablet and SSRI to deal with stress and anxiety related bereavement. I turned to nature instead, Pukka Night Time Supplement, Organic Blend with Valerian & Ashwagandha saved my life. Valerian gave me a good night sleep and Ashwagandha for lowered my cortisol 'stress hormone' level. Which helped me keep a clear head, I continue with my daily life and kept my head above water. I took two a night for a fortnight and this is my second purchase in three months. I could recommend this product any more. I have no idea what all the Prozac hype was all about when this is the clear winner by far. Ignore the lack of other stars for flavour, the smell in bad, but you swallow these things whole with a 1/2 litre of water, it medicine is not meant to be nice.
