The 1960s Scrapbook (Scrapbook)

These Opie books are really great and make wonderful presents. There is one for each decade. Everyone I have bought one for has been delighted and really enjoyed going through each page to see what was around when they were born, or married etc. They are very big books but this allows many pictures in montage fom to be put on each page. Brings back lots of shared memories, many laughs and much - 'Oh can you remember...'. Highly recomended.

I am a Year 6 teacher, and in History we are covering the period from 1948 to the present day. I was short on resources to start with, and was pointed in the direction of these books by one of the parents ... I have to say, the whole series is TERRIFIC!!! This one took me right back to my early childhood! (I was born in '64 - so it's great for me!) It also gave the children a terrific idea of what life was like on the '60s. One of their challenges this term has been to produce a 3D diorama in a shoe box - and, as I'm sure you'll imagine, it has been an invaluable research tool for fashions, toys, products and gadgets of the era! I love it, and hope you do as well!

I got the 60s and the 70s scrapbook to have at my 60th party for people to look at as that is the party theme I thought they would be a talking point and I don't think they will disappoint. Very well put together .

Excellent condition which I thought was a new book. Only realised it wasn’t when I noticed a small hand written name on the cover. All the pages were like new and instead of cutting up for scrapbooking I have decided to keep it for reference and the pleasure of reminiscing treasured memories from my teenage years.

Perfect for people to look back on the decade of the 60s to view what life was like, shame it’s not got more pages!!

The Book: 10/10 Packaging: Outrageous! Despite all the promises from Amazon, you continue to use ridiculously large and unnecessary packaging. A large, slim 'envelope' would have sufficed - which would not have required 2 yards of paper inside. Get a Grip!!

Very good service and book is a great present. Be aware that the book is quite a large size, although none the worse for that.

These books are the best of seeing any given time period. I'm a theatrical props master and getting a sence of the time is a big help in finding the right props for a show.
