tesamoll E-Profile Seal - Self Adhesive Rubber Draught Excluder for Insulating Gaps in Windows and Doors - Brown - 10 m x 9 mm

I needed to keep out very strong cooking odours that have been wafting into my home from a nearby new restaurant that seems keen on 'chargrilling' (terrible smell, and hopeless local council for not dealing with it...). My windows have an effective seal, but - though I normally prefer to have some 'natural ventilation' - the door-frame needed attention.This is a very good quality and effective product, and I thoroughly recommend it - it's great for keeping out winter draughts and retaining heat, too. The product would also be fine for draughty window-frames, as well as door-frames. Another plus is that it also seems to insulate against outside noise too.It is very easily cut to size and applied (N.B. the surface that it is to be stuck to needs to be cleaned well, first). It can also be easily peeled off then re-applied - when trying to get it on just right - yet the adhesive remains strong. The 'E-profile' is intended for gaps 1 - 3.5 mm (make sure you check out the various different types and get one that is suitable for the size of gap you need to fill). I did however have a small section with a wider gap, and simply stuck one layer on top of the other, no problem. I also 'doubled up' and had 2 layers side by side in some parts. (I used the entire 10 metres for the one door-frame. Note that the photo shows that it is supplied as 2 x 5m strips, which are fairly narrow, side by side on the roll.) The material is quite spongy and compresses well, and fills the gaps very effectively. The packaging says it should remain effective for 8 years!It really seems to have worked - along with a letterbox brush/draught excluder - in keeping out the woeful pongs (plus draughts and noise). Very pleased - and relieved!

Simple and easy to use, although you may need a step ladder to get it right up into the corner of the frame. I applied this excluder to two small windows in my house and immediately noticed less noise from the street and no draught. Very good.

This has worked really well on my front door that's warped and really draughty.I tried other types but they were too thick and meant the door had to be slammed shut, which wasn't ideal.This is quick and easy to apply. I've even had the put three layers in one spot and it sticks perfectly.

I bought this hoping it would help stop the condensation that's started to develop on my windows but it actually made it worse. I think it's OK and if you spend time applying it correctly, as a draught excluder it would probably do the job well. I did find that in some places it didn't stick too well though and then when I needed to remove it as it made the condensation worse, some bits stuck too well and I had difficulty removing it.

Used to seal a noticeable gap in a window framer in a rental property we are currently in, very effective at draughtproofing for a few pounds, pleased with performance. Just make sure you buy the right thickness (and don't buy something too thick, it won't compress!)

I bought this to seal draft around my loft hatch which is dry no damp whatsoever. It went up well and stayed there for about a week then all fell down i am very annoyed about this I thought i had bought a good product it wasnt cheap so expected beter

The first thing I noticed was that this draught excluder is quite solid and substantial. Not difficult to use as it is very flexible.The 'rubber' material has a good amount of 'give' so you can get a good seal in a tight space.It is really easy to use and has good strong adhesive properties.The fact you can either use the whole width or split it as shown in the picture is also a bonus. Very versatile.A good purchase - this is my second order.

So easy to put on. Though to no fault of the manufacturer, I had to place it on the wrong place of my door frame.Keeps a it more of the draughts out, but if I put it on the right way I can't close the door properly. Nothing to do with the manufacturer, I just need a new door.

Fait le job, mais se décolle hélas assez rapidement.Il faut donc mettre quelques punaises et plus de soucis.
