Great Tree Swing
This is a really lovely tree swing - I brought it for my daughter as we have a large mature tree with a fairly low branch in the garden and little room for a swing frame so this seemed ideal. The swing arrived and I have to say I was a little confused because it seemed to be a long rope with a swing in the middle. After realizing that you had to fix one end of the rope back on to itself at the seat end - which ones done I have to say I felt like a pillock for not realizing this at first as when you think about it it makes sense that you can adjust the length of the ropes to adjust the height of the seat or even make one side higher than the other so that the seat sits straight as the tree branch certainly isn't straight on our tree! I wrapped the rope round the branch and through the oval metal hoop so that there is a loop sticking out one side then closed the little gate behind it. this secured the swing rope round the tree in a really simple and easy way.The seat is a nice size and because it is pine and not some gaudy plastic thing it looks just lovely in the garden. a discrete way to have a child's swing in the garden without the intrusion of all that plastic and rubbish that is so common on swing seats.I haven't taken this down at all though I am sure it would be easy enough to take down and store away if you wanted to and it seems to be holding up against the worst the British winter can throw at it.This is a really lovely swing and if you have a nice strong mature tree then I would highly recommend this for your garden. My little girl just loves it and so do all her friends!

Missing parts
I'd originally purchased the wrong length rope version of this, but no problem arranging sending that one back. Got the 6 metre version shortly after returning the original, but to my despair one of the four ropes was missing the plastic moulded attachment which holds the ropes in place. Couldn't be bothered to return it, so made a work around. It's good value though and is easy to put up. Disappointed that my one got through quality control missing an integral part, but managed to fix it in the end.

TOP NOTCH QUALITY
Really sturdy and strong. My only "gripe" is that the ropes are a little short. Excellent if your branch is perhaps 5' or less but any more or higher than that then it's harder to get on. My kiddo is 9 so he can manage just fine, but if you'd a younger child, you need a low hanging branch. Still have to give it 5 stars for pure quality. The whole neighborhood kids play on it endlessly and it's still like new. Well worth the money, and I never had a tree or rope swing as a kid, so it delights me that my kiddo (and the neighborhood) does. Recommended buy.

Good swing but I got the wrong fittings
It's a really nice well made swing, sturdy, and the ropes are good quality, nice to get hold of. Couldn't give this five stars as I got the wrong product in the box - the company make a similar swing but with different fixings on the ropes to attach it to hooks on a frame i.e. not for fixing to a tree. Though the bag was labelled "Tree Swing" and the instructions were for "Tree Swing", it wasn't. As the swing was needed for an imminent grandchild visit I managed to adapt the set up and make it work OK. But I thought it worth mentioning just in case it happens to you, the sensible thing would be to return it for an exchange and use the correct fittings.

Swinging Fun
This is excellent Fun for all the Family. Not the heaviest and most lasting quality - but then, the price reflects this! We are a family of well built adult Vegetarians. Our Apple Tree branch is about 9 - 10 feet in height and this fits well and allows the swing to hang down nice and low. The fitting of the rope is important. The rope should be wound around the Tree limb(maybe twice) and then bought back down and the metal loop re-attached to the hanging rope on each side. The metal loop on each side will be approximately one third to half way down the length of each hanging rope. If you try and make each rope double down both sides - it will be too short - and the swing will hang too high to get upon it. (I think, the photos of the product make the fitting confusing - as did another person who reviewed this swing). Hopefully it will last a good long time. Have Fun!

Who doesn't love a swing!
I put this on a tree in our estate and uts rarely empty. The only thing to dislike is the 70kg weight limit.... which means the parents can't have a sneaky go.

Satisfactory - But Slippage At Tree Branch Point
On the face of it the swing is good value for money; it's robust and the ropes are of good quality. The problem we have is that when in use, the ropes that are around the tree branch move back and forth a centimetre or two as the swing moves back and forth. We are planning on inserting screws through the ropes in an effort to secure them more tightly.

Looks great, fairly easy to install may need straps to extend
This was really well priced and looks really nice hanging under our cheery tree. It is quite high for our children to climb into but needs to be wrapped around the tree for secureness and our tree branch is fairly low down you you may need to consider some extending straps if your branch is high up. We’ve had it six months now through winter and spring and it’s weathered really well so far.
