My boy loved this for his 1st birthday. My 2 year old loves it too. Yes, it is loud. But who cares when your kids are enjoying it and laughing/smiling. A great toy for a kid, and he loves it, but who in the marketing team decided on a heavy metal soundtrack to be loudly activated whenever the button is pressed (and once said button's been pressed, it cannot be un-pressed). This is for one-year-olds!
