Great little no frills amp
This is a great little no frills amp with plenty of volume for gigs in small halls or at home. I am very pleased with the simplicity and quality of this well made amp.I only have one small nigle that it was advertised with a grill front yet I got a material based front; the photo was even a grill. I feel a bit misleading, but I must emphasize a great little amp.The clean sound is very good and can feed a good effects pedal with a good signal. I am very happy with the product even without the grill.

Excellent value for money.
For the price, it's really good. The sound is fine for a practice amp and it's easy to use for someone just starting out. I remember the old Laney combo amps with affection and am not surprised that they are still turning out nice little amps. Pity they are made in China but that's the way of the world!

SOUNDS HORRIBLE
1) This amplifier sounds terrible2) Usually budget/solid state amps have a good, crisp clean sound and a poor drive channel, this has POOR clean and drive channels3) I'm not a Laney hater, I have a good Laney 2x12 cab and lionheart amp head4) I THINK that the LX amp series replaced the - LV100/200/300 range of amps, the LV' amp was much better and they discontinued it?5) I'm not comparing this amp to an expensive alternative - for the same price you can buy a Boss Katana, or one of the Orange Crush amps - both alternative are infinitely better6) EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS AMPLIFIER, FROM A USUALLY FORMIDABLE COMPANY
