Q: Can we update new songs?

Yes, you can download the android app and new song updates come out every 3 months. You will have to purchase certificate codes however to activate each update. Typically you can purchase them on ebay in the range of $20-35.

Yes, there are some but not many.

There is a free app that downloads any song package and updates the machine via usb dongle that is included in the box. The app acts as a remote and has the search function. The song package was free when I updated for the first time. Not sure if it would be free for the next update. TJ updates songs every three months unlike KY who does twice a year and sells as a pack that is about $50 each.
