All or Nothing at All (The Billionaire Builders Book 3)

lost, love and redemption
The best ending to a trilogy I’ve read in a long time. After reading everywhere and every way and any time and any place, I was anticipating reading Tristan and Sydney story. And I wasn’t disappointed. It took Tristan a while but he got there. The amount of times he tried to absolve himself of faults for the relationship breakdown was incredible. But I liked the way he was clinking to the relation despite claiming he wasn’t in love with Sydney. The other characters from book 1 & 2 like his brothers and their partners contributed very nicely to the plot.Excellent story telling and great characters development. I will continue to read every book ever written by Jennifer Probst.

Another great read from Jennifer. Tristan and Sydney were destined to be together first as friends then lovers but everything isn’t smooth they split when Sydney has news to tell him but never gets to as he flees his hometown for the bright lights of New YorkThen years later when he has to comes back for his dads funeral things are strained between them, Sydney and her hilarious daughter Becca have a wonderful life and Tristan tries to start up we’re he left off (don’t like him very much here) when there is shocked news Tristan goes back to being cold is hard on Sydney but as alway they get their happily ever after. What great read

Tristan & Sydney
Jennifer Probst what are you doing to me, I don’t think I have ever seesawed between loving and loathing the main character as much as I did with Tristan.Throughout the Billionaire Builder series, there have been undertones of a history between Tristan and Sydney. Although nothing was divulged in the previous books subconsciously we all knew that Tristan was blind to what was right in front of him while questioning Sydney’s need to keep that barrier firmly in place. The history, as it is unearthed, between Sydney and Tristan is messy, painful and full of regret. However, while I could clearly see Sydney’s reasons for her actions both then and now, Tristan’s were a little more unclear. Tristan has and still has a nasty habit of distorting events within his own mind to fit his version of the circumstances he finds himself in. His walls are virtually impenetrable and his ability to turn his elements off is chilling. Yet, and this is probably the reason I didn’t write him off when he was behaving like a complete a-hole, Jennifer manages to make Tristan vulnerable even when he is at his most douche-tastic. To give credit where credit is due, it was Jennifer’s characterisation and the depths of Tristan’s personality she managed to portray that had me swinging between love and hate for him.I loved the way in which Tristan embraced his role within Becca’s life and how selfless Sydney was where her daughter’s happiness was concerned. My heart literally hurt for the way in which Tristan abused Sydney’s feelings for him and controlled the situation with emotional warfare. I was also really hurt on Sydney’s behalf by the reaction of the rest of the Pierce extended family. She was all on her own coping with these monumental changes and having no-one to turn to 🙁 Placing herself in the role of the martyr while slowly killing off her own soul. Being a parent doesn’t mean you have to deny your own happiness – something it takes Sydney a long time to figure out.It really would have been very easy to hate Tristan but his family history and the impact losing Syndey all those years ago, provide a deep level of understanding. This didn’t mean I didn’t want to go all Tangled on his behind *frying pan at the ready*. Tristan really struggled to acknowledged and accept his feelings with his barriers working against him continually. His emotional journey painful and hard fought but worth every bit of heartache in the end.I loved seeing all of the characters in the series progress, especially the bond between the brothers grow and strengthen within each story. I also really loved the girls dressing up as Disney Princesses and the inclusion of Grease at the wedding reception lol.

Powerful love story
For Tristan being part of the Pierce family business and living in a small town used to be a nightmare, that's why he left and built a name for himself in New York. After the death of his father he inherited a share of the company and came back to run it together with his brothers. After a year he's still not used to one aspect of his current situation, spending time again with Sydney, the woman he’s always loved, but never let in. She’s aiming for a job as CFO of their company, which makes him realize she’s no longer the little girl he grew up with. Sydney is a successful single mother, a force to be reckoned with, does Tristan stand a chance to win back the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with?Tristan broke Sydney’s heart many years ago. His distant and cold attitude made it hard for her to get through to him when she needed him the most and she had to make some difficult decisions by herself. This means there are many unresolved issues between them and there’s a lot Sydney hasn’t told Tristan. Now that he’s showing an interest again her heart want nothing more than to say yes to the man she’s always loved with her entire soul, but is it possible to make a fresh start after everything that happened in the past? All or Nothing at All is a terrific sexy love story. Tristan is the one for Sydney and she’s known ever since their first meeting. He has trust issues and doesn’t easily let people in. Sydney has never been able to completely break down his walls. Every time she makes a little progress Tristan withdraws. He shows her plenty of passion, but isn't always kind and I couldn’t turn the pages quickly enough to find out if he’d eventually be able to open his heart. Sydney is a wonderful generous person. She usually has claws, but whenTristan asks something of her, she can’t say no. There are many unresolved issues between them and discovering if they’d be able to overcome their problems kept me glued to the pages.Jennifer Probst has an amazing dynamic writing style. Her story is fast-paced and filled with energy and emotion. I loved that her main characters aren’t perfect, their flaws make them interesting and very enjoyable to read about. She thoroughly explores each feeling and every obstacle and the result is a fantastic complex love story. There’s plenty of chemistry, sparks are flying off the pages, and each interaction between the main characters is intense and meaningful. I love it when a romantic story is so powerful and highly recommend All or Nothing at All.
