Very good work boot: sole is sown not just glued to upper so far less likely to detach. All materials first class - leather, eyelets, laces, sole. Tongue is adequate but does not extend above boot nor is it very wide - but does the job of blocking dust, light moisture etc. Some padding inside for sole of foot but the robust build of the sole means you feel it and there's only limited shock absorbancy. Simple but effective tread pattern on sole, disperses mud etc, finds grip. More expensive than most but far better quality.

Had these boots for 4 years, been hammered on a building site, stood in concrete countless times, nothing can stop them,they are on the heavy side though, very comfy boots, waiting for them to die so I can buy another pair but looking like it will be a while yet.
