Took about an hour to assemble . It’s very solid , looks great and gives an even and easily adjustable temperature. I didn’t realise that you can’t use brickettes (lava rock) on it which I would have preferred but that’s just my personal preference .

Well built and solid

For some reason I thought I had ordered a stainless steel BBQ complete with a cover. Not so. Probably the red amnesia (Rioja). However the Fireplus is here and I have assembled same. Read the instructions. Sorry - interpret the drawings. easy to get wrong bits in wrong place. As a gas engineer I question the fact that purchasers are being asked to mount a pre connected gas valve (for side burner), complete with Bottle connector, and then check that the gas injector is correctly installed. No advice on type of gas hose or type of gas governor, clips, hoses, etc., is given. As yet untested under field conditions (weather poor). The drip tray in the drawing shows a plate that appears to be pressed and shaped to fall to the centre. Not so. Just flat. My last Outbacker BBQ lasted many years and I doubt this BBQ will stand the test of time. Now I must order a cover..
