Really great item. Can charge my 13" MacBook Pro (mid 2014) without issues. Throw away the junk cable that comes with it though as this gets hot quickly.

Think they need to be a bit clearer that ’MagSafe 2’ isn’t like the difference between HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.1. It isn’t a spec difference. It is actually a size difference. So this wouldn’t fit my 2021 M1 MacBook Pro. Real shame; as I can see a few scenarios where this may have come in handy. Bit odd producing a version for such old laptops, but not the newer ones? So, fairly pointless for me.Here is what you need to know: (I had to research this. Only realised this AFTER I’d got this! Make sure it is correct for your device ( Supports 61W 65W 85W 96W 140W USB-C power supply + will not work if the output is less than 15V.) If it is a match for your requirements then this is a convenient adapter but it's a bit expensive

This was ordered for convenience more than to replace an existing cable. With associated costs for luggage when travelling, I always try and take the minimal amount of cabling with smartphones/laptops etc. With USB-C this has now become much easier and I have a Euro plug based generic power supply - covering the power requirements - making a one size fits all, as it also covers devices using less power.This Magsafe2 charging cable means that I no longer need to take the original ‘brick’ with UK 3 pin plug for my laptop along with my other cables - freeing up plenty of valuable space. It arrived in its own box along with the 1.8m cable. The adaptor looks solid, along with the cable with good tight fittings. It works flawlessly on two older MagSafe2 Macs (you need to check which one yours is and that you have a powerful enough USB-C charger).This is a good solution for me when travelling and a handy replacement to the original power supply.

Mycket nöjd med den här, använder med 100W USB-C-laddare. Enda haken är att denna adaptern, plus USB-C-kontakten, bygger ut en del, så det är lätt att den vippar ur sitt magnetläge; man får hålla lite koll på den. Den har motsvarande lysdiod som originalladdarens kontakt så man kan se om den laddar.

ich habe ein MacBook Pro 2015 und wollte nur ein Netzteil mitnehmen für MacBook und Handy. Mittels einem leistungsstarken Netzteil von Anker geht nun ein Kabel in das Handy und das zweite USB C Kabel mittels des Adapter in das MacBook Pro 2015. Der Adapter wird ein bisschen warm, aber das ist nicht störend.

Ho voluto aspettare un pò per recensirlo ma alla fine posso affermare che funziona benissimo e non dà problemi all'attacco Magsafe2 del mio mac 2015; in passato ne avevo acquistato uno diverso qui in Amazon ma dopo poco era andato in corto rischiando di fare danni.Con mia sorpresa nella confezione c'è anche un bel cavetto telato ubc/usbc da 2 metri di ottima fattura.L'adattatore ha il led arancione/verde come quello originale e funziona in modo egregio.Aggiornamento 2024: il prodotto va benissimo e a marzo 2024 non ha mai dato problemi.
