Defective or doesn't work
The media could not be loaded. I seen others with photos that theirs worked fine but mine was a dud. Maybe I I got the 1/100 bad one. -$10 😮💨 needed this for a flight

Works great!
This is a super handy little device. I use it with a PD charger. No more dragging the original charging cable everywhere I go. Even if it is just from the office to the sofa.

Updated review from the previous: Only lasted a about 6 months - Would not recommend this item
As stated on my original review (bellow), the items (I actually bought 2 of them) stopped working properly with in 6 month on using them.I’ve updated my review to 3 starts (from 1) as the costumer service has been amazing and that speaks really well from them! They have been very flexible at changing the defective charging tips for new ones…Once I get the replacement I will test it again and see what happens… If the new tip works fine then is will be a 5 star if the it does not work fine again, then I will have to go back to 2 starts or so…I again want thanks to seller for the great costumer service but I hope they understand that if the product is not working then I can not put any good rating the would mislead others to buy a product that does not perform as advertised.I hope it will work though!ORIGINAL REVIEWIt initially worked really well and I was pretty happy to have an option to use a lighter & more useful charger (i had pair this with a MINIX NEO P3 100W). I though about adding a 5 star review... BUT...Then about 6 month after the purchase. It started to fail, acting randomly, going from charging to fully charge (even if the battery had 8%), to not charging at all, and getting very hot.I change the charger, I change the cable, cleaned the connections, there was nothing to do the get it back to work properly and it got worse and worse from there.Very Disappointing!Would not recommend this itemI actually wonder how many of those that added a great review waited enough to write such reviews. As a reference: Used to charge a Macbook Pro 2014 15 inches retina.

Doesn't hold a charge
I had high hopes for this as I had a usb-c cable but an old MBP with the l-line magnetic charging port..the idea of being able to charge my laptop with the faster, newer usb-c cable seemed almost too good to be true. It even comes with an extra long, very durable usb-c cable for one to put the adapter on and immediately get to charging. Sadly, no matter how tight I made sure the adapter was attached, it was obvious that it would lose connection at times and just wasn't practical, at least for me, as a suitable charger. I tried the original charging cable that came with the laptop and although it was much shorter and older, it held a charge consistently, proving that this product is just too good to be true..at least in my eyes. Maybe someone else will have better luck but with how disappointed I was I thought I'd share my experience in hopes of preventing this from occurring to another poor soul. I did get a full refund back though so customer service was great. I wish I could say the same for the product but sadly, it just wasn't worth it :/

Something nice to have when traveling
This is such a simple device that I'm not sure why no one thought of this before. (I don't ever remember seeing anything like this with the older mag safe chargers, but they could have been out there). This adaptor turns a usb-c cord into a mag safe charger. Great for if you're upgrading from a pre 2020 Mac and don't feel like spending the money on another full charger. I think it's also good just to have when traveling as you never know when it might come in handy. The quality of this adaptor felt very nice, it had a smooth texture and the usb-c part plugged in snuggly. I charged my Macbook pro 14" with this and didn't see any adverse affects from using it and I didn't feel it over heat while it charged. The price is a bit spendy for this tiny little adaptor but it is better than the $90 for a full Apple charger, especially if you have an older usb-c type macbook charger already. If you have a usb-c macbook charger and cable and needed a mag safe charger, I would say at least give this adaptor a shot.

Seriously brilliant MagSafe 2 charging head
(Item: Aioum USB C to Magnetic Suction 2 Generation T (T-TIP) T Type 45W 60W 85W for MacBook air pro with line 1.8m)This MagSafe 2 magnetic head will work with the following MacBooks:• MacBook Air (June 2012 to June 2017)• MacBook Pro Retina, 13” (June 2012 to May 2015)• MacBook Pro Retina, 15” (June 2012 to May 2015)Use a charging adapter that’s at least 60W or higher. If you’re using it with a MacBook Pro 15”, consider an 85W charger (or higher). Also, be sure your cable is rated for higher wattage power delivery (not all are). Thunderbolt 3/4 or USB4 will work. Or, just use the included cable.I’m using this with a 2014 MacBook Air. The included USB-C cord fits well in the MagSafe 2 head and connects to the charging port without any problems. I also tried it with several other Thunderbolt cables and had no issues. It seems well built. The magnet strength is similar to Apple’s original MagSafe cable. And, it features a charging indicator light similar to the original. One other side note. If you’re powering this with a charging block that offers multiple ports, just be aware of the wattage change per port when plugging in multiple devices.Overall, this is an excellent innovation and solution for powering older MacBooks. Especially useful for travel.
