Great little helper!
Great little helper when installing bridges on acoustical guitars. Well made, made of hardwood. Good tool, and cheap!

Works great, cost effective
Well designed with high-quality construction and hardware. Simple to use and clamps well without additional external clamps. The side screws do a good job holding down the ends of the bridge. I inverted the main screws due to a small sound hole and big hands and had no problem tightening the wingnuts; solved a bit of screw turn with needle nose pliers when needed. I would recommend large washers both sides to distribute the clamping forces. No need for the high-priced items from luthier supply houses IMO.

Useful tool
Did not adjust enough to fit my bridge, but did the trick. I held the bridge in alignment with two bridge pins while glueing it. I needed to buy a c-clamp with a deeper throat to apply the force needed until the glue set up. This guitar bridge clamp worked to repair my guitar.

Works great with some work
I’m a novice at guitar repair so I thought this bridge clamp would be accurate and save a lot of time. In my case the metal bolts barely fit through the bridge holes so I needed to use a Allen wrench to screw then up and then back down. And then when I got it all ready to screw in the top pressure plate the spacing was off and it would not fit. I had used the low and high E string holes. So I had to unscrew everything and move the bolt from the low e string hole to the next hole. I thought it would be a 10 minute job but it took about 2 hours. But the result is great. Strong bond. No gaps. So I’m not complaining. I got a $500 guitar for $100 because the bridge was totally busted and for a $16 bridge, this clamp, some material and 3-4 total hours of time I have a very nice guitar! I’d definitely buy it but I would recommend screwing everything together without glue first to make sure you know how everything fits on your instrument. Just take your time.

Fits and centers well; good idea to use 1 6"reach clamp as well
It's made of maple, so it's strong as a rock. The fixed and moveable guide pins put this in the best place over my 12-string bridge: the overal placement favors the rear of the bridge, where clamping pressure is most vital, where lift-off begins. The gauge of the location pins fits the bridge and body through holes well, so basically you do NOT have to worry about whether the bridge is going back exactly where it was. The locating pin heads will hold the bridge in place, but considering they are not wide and guitar tops are not strong, I wouldn't count on those alone to clamp while gluing, ESPECIALLY when you use the outer pins to press down on the outer wings of the bridge so that they bond too. I would think tearout would be pretty likely if you did not also use a 6" inch deep-reach c clamp, which are only an $18 investment. With the combination of these 2 items, re-gluing the bridge should not present any surprises.

Inexpensive and works great!!
My bridge was lifting and wanted to get glue under it. Left tension on strings and worked glue under the bridge. Then loosened strings and installed clamp through bridge pin holes. Worked great.

It needs fine tuning
I was hoping to save some time by buying this bridge clamp rather than making my own. I normally use a vacuum clamp for new bridges and long c-clamps for repairs, but my latest build I decided to use a bridge clamp over the other two methods. The price was right on this so I took a chance. It's a hardwood clamp with brass threaded inserts for the outboard clamping screws. These are more than adequate. The hitch came when using the screws the attach the clamp through the bridge pin holes. The supplied screws are 4mm socket head cap screws. The bridge pin holes are the standard 3/16" which makes the supplied screws just a bit too large in diameter. No biggie, I just went to the hardware store and picked up some 10-32 socket head screws, printed out some plastic knobs on my 3D printer, sanded a radius inside the top clamp to match the bridge radius, added bigger fender washers, made some delrin cauls/pads for the bridge wing clamps and finally added some cork padding to the inside to protect the bridge. It took some work to get it to where I wanted it and maybe it saved a little time in the end. It's not bad for what it is and if you don't mind tweaking it I think it can be quite functional. It's not bad, but it's not quite a 4 so I only give it 3 stars.

Looks like good quality
I bought it as a gift for my Grandson. We will be using it to repair the bridge on an old Washburn 12 string acoustic I picked up for him. So we haven't used it yet but it looks like it will be perfect for what we need. It arrived quickly

Good for entry level.
The clamp didn’t sit well on the rounded bridge and I had glue applied before realizing that so had to make some shims in a hurry. The bolts/pins needed the holes reamed a bit to slide through and there are more washers needed. I would buy it again as it did the job and fairly simple to use.
