Amazing reference
Incredible book for making the best gin cocktails possible without making it super technical.

To say everything I love about this book would be as long as the book
Technical enough to be informative but not so much that it turns into a chemistry book, you will however get a fine history lesson.

Succinct yet comprehensive
I bought it to peruse for tips and recommendations, but the succinct, but surprisingly deep history in the front caught me and I read it cover to cover. And then tracked down a few (more) gins and some collins glasses since I was drinking G&Ts out of a rocks glass like a barbarian.

Everything you need to know about gin, and some things that are just interesting...
Well written and exhaustive this guide tells you everything you need to know about gin. Including sections on the history of gin, what gin is, how to taste (which will transfer to other drinks too), cocktails, the different sorts of gin on the market, and a survey of gins by flavor. There's enough here to form the basis of a serious study of gin (if you want to be the gin nerd in your friend group) -- or just to dip in to to keep you interested and point you in the direction of interesting new tipples.

All you need to know about gin in a book
I would say that this is the most comprehensive gin book I’ve read. It gives you absolutely everything. The gins highlighted are not just personal favs, but leaders in their field. It has a proper recording of gin history, a really good guide to distilling and great cocktail recipes. If you want to know like a pro, buy this book
