The sound is perfect, not to much high end notes but they are there and mixed really well
Sound quality is great, I always wait a few months before sharing a review but I bought these April 7th and haven’t had any issues, when it comes to KZ/Linsol I get mixed quality, sometimes they work for upwards of over a year and sometimes they only work a few days, but nonetheless these seem to be holding up well and the sound is excellent, very happy with them, bass is excellent, still get the high notes but it’s not over powering at all, I play drums for my church every week so even the wire that comes with the headphones is holding up great, it gets unplugged and plugged in constantly and and has held up fine, can’t say enough good things about these, only gripe I have is I wish they would come with the upgraded wire set but otherwise there awesome.

I love the KZ Castor !
Overall, pleased with my purchase. I'm new to the IEM world but I have been playing games for some time now. And during a late night search for budget gaming headphones, I found these IEM's and they are great. Budget friendly option. The sound quality and clarity is great. But I can say the cord length, like most items like these is a bit short. And it does include different tips to choose your comfort which is nice. I'm still working on finding the best fit and way to use them on my gaming PC. But so far they are great. The design of the IEM is great and overall I think these will be far better then most budget headsets. Either way, forget headsets and try IEM's you will be surprised !

Good sound quality and comfort
KZ has pulled of a nicely cohesive sound in these IEMs, particularly since a single balanced armature for medium to high frequencies is paired up one driver. The crossover is smooth and reasonably balanced for a low-cost monitor. Bass is satisfactory, extended and balanced with highs, although this is not for lovers of bass-heavy beat.I was fascinated by the 4 slide switches, which is rare for IEM near this price, and wanted to know if they changed tuning, and by how much. I hear not significant change with settings, so I set up a sweep test with the Audacity editor using a small electret condenser microphone coupled to the IEM port with dense closed cell foam. (This was less for measuring accurate frequency response than to see the magnitude of the changes.) The diagrams show a sweep from 50 Hz to 12,000 Hz, with "bumps" in the shapes to the left of center on each at 2,000, 3,000 and 4,000 Hz. (The low end frequency response to the far left should be ignored due to rolloff in the microphone and acoustic coupling but it is able to compare. switch settings)The top graph shows DDDU settings, the next two are both UUUU (for repeatability) and the last is DDDD. This is a linear scale marked in dB and differences of less than 2 dB should be visible. However, the sweeps show almost no difference in frequency response, confirming my listening tests. The UUUU show about 2 dB less output at 4,000 Hz and above, compared to the DDDD setting, but that's barely audible. This makes the switches more of a gimmick than a useful feature. The Krillas were shipped with the UUUU mode, and that's my preference to balance the midband to the lows. The result, as noted earlier, is pleasant and balanced, with no hollowness from the single BA transducer. Depth is limited. Good enough to keep, but there are equal or better-sounding units under $25, IMHO.

Gaming
I have a few different IEMS I've been testing with gaming on my PS5 from the budget category I.E. Wan'er, Aria, 7hz Zero. And I have to say these are my favorite so far (Aria Second). If you've happened upon these you've probably heard about their massive sound stage and for the price, it is quite impressive. Good bass but also very defined and separated highs mids and lows where your game (or music) doesn't sound muddy and muffled together. They have definitive directional sound and an airy-ness that really lends to an atmospheric experience. I played with call of duty and could hear clearly where gunshots were coming from. The horizontal Soundstage is bigger than the vertical. But hey. They're 25 bucks. But built quite solid. I also played spiderman with them as an alternative atmosphere and could hear all of the little details in the city. Overall. They are an excellent buy for gaming or music or both. And if you don't like them. Hey, again, $25 bucks. My only caveat is definitely find some more ear tips. Contrary to my former experiences, the foam eartips can make them sound quite piercing at times. Especially with gunshots. The final audio eartips sound quite well. But if you already own the 7hz zero I actually really like the frequencies delivered with the blue or pink eartips that come with the 7hz. Happy gaming. And happy listening friends.

Best audio from earbuds I’ve ever heard
These are AMAZING! I love the cable being anti-tangle! This is one of the only sets of earbuds that has inserts small enough for the inside of my ears, they feel like they’re not even there! Best pet is the audio. They have the absolute best audio I’ve ever experienced in the world of earbuds! The only downside is that I own an iPhone so I had to purchase a separate adapter but that is easy to look past

Some pros and cons
They work for high end pickup, but advertised as getting the "lows" too. I rarely use earbuds anymore but am using them for monitors for my mixer. I'd make sure you adhere to the "breaking in period" as when you first plug them in mine sounded cheap and with static. I kept sound low and eventually they sounded better.Pros - The price was fantasticCons- cord is pretty short for anything other than plugging into your phone while using. They advertise the bass sound and I was hoping for something much better on the bass end.
