got this for my Chinchilla cage after another brand i got stopped working after a week. this one was easy to setup, the app has some great info and seems like it should last. Temp / Humidity seems pretty accurate based on a non smart device i also have.

I bought this to monitor temperatures in my greenhouse. I found the product extremely difficult to set up. The app it uses is not intuitive and extremely tiny print on the small instruction booklet is impossible to read. I’m not a tech guru, but I can usually figure these things out. Bought it for my daughter’s new piano. It’s very easy to setup. I put it near the piano and can use my phone app to monitor the temp and humidity. Very convenient.

Useless. I want the actual temperature, not the average. I bought it yesterday and will return it tomorrow.

Good news - it’s not as big as it appears in some of the photos. The app interface is very basic. Works with Smart Life and Tuya, both by Tuya. I agree with others the app is a security risk. Why does it need access to my photos and contacts? I did not create an account or login and it works for the thermometer/hygrometer. I may keep looking for something that works with a more secure app, get a local smart hub, find another solution or give up. IF it would give me real-time temperature without having to PUSH A BUTTON on it it might be worth it, but for use in a greenhouse that’s 200 feet away it won’t work for me. This is Texas, and temps can change 20 degrees in one hour, so waiting for an hourly update is not satisfactory. Battery life should be better. It was half the price of other WiFi sensors, which I need because Bluetooth doesn’t have enough range for my distant greenhouse.

This works well for my specific need. I have a remote room that is unheated and I need to make sure that the space heater keeps up with the weather. I found the initial setup and configuration more difficult than average when compared to other IoT devices, but once configured it works as advertised. I do not need an instantaneous or live reading. I do not need to know the power status. The temperature is accurate, but I have not checked the hygrometer.

This sensor comes with 2 AAA batteries, but it also has the ability to be powered using the provided usb type c cable. This is nice if you intend on using it in the same location for a long period of time so that you can set it up near a power outlet and you won't have to go through a bunch of batteries. The app does provide a power indicator which is appreciated, this way you know when the batteries need to be changed. The sensor itself is lightweight and small so it can easily be hung up in various places. It tracks temperature and humidity and you can set the app to alert you if certain conditions are met. Overall, this is a great product and I think the asking price is fair for the convenience. Hope this helps!
