The appliance you never knew you needed.
I've been a cup/disc user for a decade now and only JUST THIS YEAR decided to try a sterilizer. Is it technically unnecessary? Very much so. But man, the convenience is so worth it. I feel like you should treat yourself to some convenience for saving the environment from disposable period products, after all.I do hate that it doesn't auto shut off. However, even if you do forget about it (like I did once), it won't burn your cup.Wish I got this and a cup/disc-specific wash ages ago.

It does what it needs. A few things that are alittle irritating: the plastic is getting cosmetic cracks on the inside which is darkening as it cleans. The shutoff works but if condensation falls onto the heater it turns back on. I’m not sure if it’s a safety hazard or not. I don’t like leaving it on and alone.
