AMD Radeon RX 550 2GB HP 940269-001 Graphics Card | New, OEM

This graphics card works great. I don't do gaming, so I can't make any recommendation for that. I just wanted a solution to support two 27" monitors at 2560 X 1440 resolution. My brand-new computer only provides two integrated video ports from the motherboard. One is HDMI and the other is VGA. When I bought the computer, I had one 27" monitor running an HDMI feed at 2560 X 1440, and one 24" monitor running at 1920 X 1080 on the VGA port. So, I decided to upgrade the 24" monitor to 27" so I would have two screens the same size. But the VGA port can't support the higher resolution on the 27" monitor, so the picture did not look very good at a 1080 resolution. I tried an HDMI splitter - that was a complete failure. So, I bought this graphics card. It was no more expensive than the VGA to HDMI cable I had bought just to get a VGA feed to my new 27" monitor, which does not have a VGA input port. With this card I have both 27" monitors running at 2560 x 1440 resolution. They look great. Well worth the money if all you need to do is drive two monitors. And it was simple to install. Just plug it into a PCI Express slot on your motherboard. You must also download and install AMD Radeon RX 550 and restart your computer before both monitors will get feeds from the card.

My GTX 770 died and I needed an inexpensive card that can support a 240hz primary monitor and second 75hz monitor. Haven't really tested it for gaming, but this is a great budget card for setting up higher end monitors for a home office. It should run less intensive games just fine, you will just want to check the temps when doing so. The heatsink is quite small compared to other GPUs I've seen- so there might be lackluster cooling if you push it to the limit.

Installation was easy and fast. The card has functioned perfectly since. A real bargain.
