Why is this advertised as Pure Stevia when the main ingredient is unhealthful DEXTROSE sugar?

If you want pure stevia this brand has nothing else added https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DPW5H84/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Unfortunately, I cannot find just stevia in packets..... so I put some of this in small air tight jars and keep a little measuring spoon in each one.

The first ingredient is dextrose, which is a carbohydrate. It is used as a bulking agent in powdered artificial sweeteners and is a derivative of sugar. This product is mostly made up of carbs, with dextrose being the first on the list of ingredients. Steer clear of powder artificial sweeteners like this one if you are on a low carb diet such as the ketogenic diet. Liquid stevia is a much better option because dextrose is not used.

Dextrose is sugar how is it minus carbs and sugars???

It can make that claim because if the amount of calories is less than 5 per serving, according to Federal labeling regulations. However, if the packets contained only the main sweetener, Stevia extract, the amount would be so tiny that consumers would find it difficult to deal with, and the taste would be unacceptably bitter to many. That is why caloric sweeteners, such as dextrose (glucose), are typically added to the packets.

I would like to know the % of stevia. Unlike dextrose, it is not listed, I wonder if it is suitable for keto .... ?

Simple answer is NO, not keto because of the dextrose. Best to use liquid stevia, like Pyure or our favorite Natrisweet Original Stevia Liquid Drops.
