The media could not be loaded. Zero instructions, YouTubed it and had to ease through three or four kids homemade unboxing and giggling their way through putting up LED’s. But got the gist of it. I improved on their method by lining up 3 kitchen chairs to “walk the walls”.1 push furniture to middle of room2 line up three kitchen chairs the length of wall with space to step comfortable one to another3 have someone move last chair up to front of the line after you step off it.Boom, done in minutes. EasyBut, then we stepped back to light er up to find 3 didn’t work right. So we’re just going to live with it. After all the are virtually super glued with the adhesive tape. I would tear up the walls taking them down to return them.

The adhesive strip makes me keep these lights around the windows year-round. The app gives you many features, such changing colors, blinking etc. The light is bright enough if you want some light at night and don't want to turn the house lights on. Makes the room cheerful and it looks great from the outside, as well. Price is right, as well.

I bought the 16.4ft lights and that covers a little less than half of my room. It's perfect because I wanted to cover at least two walls where the corner meets. To top it all, it arrived at me earlier than expected!! The adhesive on the back of these lights is very sticky and adjustable. I had no problem readjusting to make the stip straighter on my wall, and my painted walls did not suffer any damage. I have used adhesives that ripped off the paint on my walls, and this did not do that! The remote works really good to adjust brightness and switch from the preprogrammed colors it provides. The led lights do not get hot at all! If you want to make custom colors, the app is perfect for that I had no troubleshooting with it, despite the ratings about it suggesting otherwise. It was a 5 minute set up. To make different color combinations, just search up RGB color codes or something along that line, and they will provide you with the perfect color combination. The colors can be customized by the color scheme wheel in the app, or precisely by the number scale provided in the app. The timer and alarm system also works really well, the lights turn on and off at the times I set it for, and it works well with Alexa and features like music where the lights change to the beat. The one thing I will say that was off, is the white color setting because it has a blue tint, but it can be fixed within the app by setting all the colors to the same number of playing around with them until you get your perfect shade of white. Also, the only shades you can't make, are brown, black, or other dark shade like grey, because that is how the RGB scale works. One problem that I had was that I couldn't get some of the colors like red to appear, and if the same thing happens to you, check the connecter (not the outlet plug) to see if it is loose. The little prong thing should be secured and make sure all four prongs are in the LED strip. Once I adjusted that and made sure it was all the way in, all the colors worked perfect, I hope I'm not missing anything in this review, and I tried to make it as thorough as I could. Anyways buy this!!

When searching for LED strip lights, I came across various problems with others, such as if they'd stick, brightness, and how long they'd last. These lights proved otherwise! The adhesive they used is quite sticky and strong and has lasted for almost half a year now. It has stayed on even after peeling them off the wall and re-sticking them. The lights have lasted just as long too! I've used them every day for over 2 hours each day and nothing has happened to the lights at all. The brightness is great and can be easily adjusted so you can capture the perfect mood. The variety of colors and ease with Daybetter's alternative control app, which, in my experience, can be downloaded on Apple and Android, to use for the lights is also a plus. They have a few different pre-set modes that you can pick from and change the speed for how fast or slow they change. My personal favorite is the rainbow bounce mode. I do wish that there were custom modes, though, as I prefer warmer, softer colors compared to the pre-set ones, which are neon so good for rooms that are going for a more electronic or futuristic vibe. Of course, another big plus is the price. These are fairly cheap but still good quality, so if you're searching for cheap, affordable, good quality lights, these are for you! One complaint I have is about the music sync that they said the lights would do. It's not all that great. The lights just change color every time a loud noise / bass is picked up and most of the time it's not even in sync with the song. It also picks up sound really weirdly so using a speaker to blast your tunes might just make your lights have the equivalent of a seizure. If you want to sync the lights on the same device as the app controlling the lights, you'll need to have iTunes or Apple Music to be able to play anything, and since I don't have any of those, I, unfortunately, have no idea on how the quality of the sync is when used that way. A smaller complaint I have is with the remote. The remote doesn't work very well and the colors shown on the buttons aren't exactly the same as what they show on the lights. For example, if I click orange, I'll get a yellow color that is no where close to being orange, or if I click purple, I'll get blue. This is why the app is really helpful, but even the color picker on the app doesn't always match up with the lights so I just have to aimlessly drag the color picker till my lights turn the color I want them to be. If you want white, brown, or black lights, you're out of luck. Of course, for how cheap they are, they're still quite good and, in fact, arguably better than GOVEE lights, which is one of the biggest LED strip light companies. If you want long-lasting, colorful lights, these are the way to go!

I ordered this smart led strip cautiously since price wise it was very convenient and have to to admit that the setup was a breeze, installation was fast. The self adhesive strip is holding so far very well.Works flawlessly with Alex, google home no issue whatsoever.Recommended.

Cheap light, didn't last more then a month before burning out! I do not recommend
