Great Product at a great price. Bloomed perfectly and did it's job. You just want to count on your yeast. Seems silly till you lose 4 loaves of bread. I can count on red star for that thanks.

As a newbie in the world of baking, I have fallen in love with the RED STAR Active Dry Yeast in the 908g package. Not only does it make my bread taste amazing, but the quantity it offers at such a great value is perfect for someone like me who is just starting out. One of the things I appreciate most about this yeast is how easy it is to use. As a beginner, I was worried about getting the measurements right and making sure the yeast would activate properly. Arrived safely nicely packaged with strong shrink wrap on it. Looks fantastic. Cant wait to get to baking. I use this in jars and wondered if Amazon sold it. They did to my surprise and in a 32 oz bag! Yes please. Im so glad I looked on Amazon. And buying it this way, I saved myself $9.00. Theres no bulk stores near me, so this was a great find to me. Happy baking! Update: Ive made bread loafs, cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls. Every one turned out great. No huge yeast taste, fluffy, not dense. I really like this. I was using the other name brand yeast for 25+ years and I wish I had switched to this 25+ years ago. I wont change my go to yeast, which will be this brand.
