My grandson was terrified of bugs. I bought this hoping would help and it certainly did !! You don’t have to touch the bugs, just place it over and close the bottom. You can see the bug and safely release bit. I even caught. Nasty wasp with it, just to remove it from the kitchen. My grandson loves it… not enough bugs around for him to look at ! Absolutely, amazing purchase !

Fantastic way to capture spiders and moths trapped in the flat and release them in a humane manner. Previously I'd look for a container and a piece of card but that was too much hassle. I found a huge spider tonight above my bed; captured and released it in under a minute. Hassle-free! This item is well-made and very durable. It is pricey but worth the money if you have a phobia of the insect you are capturing for release as you can hold it at arms length.

I love this thing! I've never had a problem with spiders but I'd always worry that I'd be hurting or scaring them if I picked them up to put outside, with this device I can gently lower it over them and shut the little slider slowly so they can move themselves out of the way, and then I can safely pop them into the garden. And I can have a good look at them 😂

I bought this three years ago as a funny surprise because my partner always scrambled to find a bit of paper to slide under the glass for those surprisingly large house spiders that appear out of nowhere. It wasn't meant to be a serious gift but has actually been an extremely practical item! Its not just a toy for kids! This gets used for bees and wasps in the summer (aka 'spicy flies' to the cat) and spiders and moths and everything else that finds its way inside. It doesn't damage the little critters legs or wings when used deliberately and we've used it to let the cat think she's caught the bug while preventing injury to either, so she ends her hunt without distress. With this much extended, frequent use the only concern is that the orange sliding flap has warped slightly on the closing edge so we sometimes have to extend it carefullt so bugs don't try to get underneath the small hump as its closing. Once closed it is secure though, as we've once or twice caught a late night spider and forgotten to release them the next day then found a small web built in there that requires a clean out. This has definitely been worth its cost and I don't think our house will ever be without one again!

Great if you don’t want to squish spiders. Helped me over come a fear of them when there were an abundance appearing all over my homes suddenly.

This is so handy. We live amongst mature trees and lots of bush in the Maritimes and didn't want to kill the poor bugs. I initially thought this would be too short, and sometimes, when he spiders/ bugs are huge, yes it does feel short lol, but it works! caught some really cool moths and big spiders and when you examine them in here, they actually look kinda cute. My kids love it, we bought another. Great purchase.
