LRI FMNG Photon Freedom LED Keychain Micro-Light, Night Vision Green Beam

Well what can I say about this. Its not a main lamp although if you are one of the very lightweight travellers you may find it great for the job. I am not disappointed by it in any way, it is very bright and has variable light levels, but it does not have a focus so i feel it has limited use outside. I find it to be great as a tent light on one of the lower settings, so it lives in the top of my rucksack with another one in my first aid kit. But if you are looking for something that will show you the way along a dark path look elsewhere as these are not suitable. They are however a great lightweight and tiny replacement for a lantern in a tent or shelter.

I used to use those cheap and very similar LED keychains from dealextreme, like 2$ per 10. This one is more expensive but also worth it. Build quality is far better and it has more modes and beam is stronger. I chose the green version as it gives light at night without getting our eyes used to it. I mean the moments when you turn on and off white light in the dark, your eyes kind of hurt and have to get used to dark/light/dark/light ;) with green light no problem.The added clip and the lanyard might be useful (the clip has little magnets so you can attach it to metal surface, and you can move the clip 360 degrees). The only disadvantage is that its inconvinient to carry the light and the clip with f.e. your keys. I carry only the light with my keys- on a small carabiner it's a nice set ;) no wonder that the astronauts reveived them to be used in the space :))

Well built and sturdy this little torch is surprisingly bright for it's size and doesn't take up too much room in the pocket. It is never going to compete with a full size torch but then you can't carry a full size torch around on a permanent basis. Perfect for those times when you drop something in the dark and it will illuminate a garage or shed sufficiently to find what you are looking for. The additional operating modes mean that this is much more than just a torch. Often the clip supplied with cheaper imitations is untrustworthy and flimsy at best but be rest assured this is a quality item built to last. 6 months on and I have only changed the batteries once.

I just needed a keychain light for carrying around everywhere.It works very well, but the technology is far more than I need. And in fact the technology gets in the way sometimes - it goes into a different mode when I'm not expecting it.Also the push-button is a little vague and you have to press it hard.Hence I gave it 4 starts instead of 5.

The torch unit itself is great and works fine, I have also tested this model after being submerged in the kitchen sink - no problems. The issue is that this seller is not shipping the accessories that are listed in the product description with the product as stated:"FREE Accessories! Photon Necklace & Photon Hands-Free Clip included with every Freedom Micro LED flashlight"So far I have ordered 3 units from Phut and as none of them included the clip or Necklace which as VERY handy to have - the original unit I bought (from another Amazon Seller) came with these. I am returning all 3 units because of this.

For the money, there really isn't anything as reliable or that functions as well and offers the lighting options that these do.I have over 8 of these myself on various keyrings and in various places. I buy them regularly as gifts for people who tell me they end up doing the same for others, so impressed have they been with them.Nuff said.

Best keychain flashlight ever. Adjustable brightness, beacon and sos features, morse code mode, water resistant, tough body, sports the brightest 5mm nichia led on the market. It costs more than the typical noname coin flashlight, but it's well worth the extra money.It's not regulated like the AA/AAA flashlights, and using two 2016 or one 2032 battery it does have its limitations, but you can't beat what it does for the small size.

Very bright for such a small devide. Brightness can be adjusted from dim to very bright, good range on brightest setting. Added safety features loke strobe effect etc. Very impressive and a great safety device easily carried.
