Schiit Lokius 6-Band Balanced Tone Control Equalizer (Silver)

I wasn't quite sure how much power the equalizer used but the power supply says 20 watt on it and so it's pretty low for the drain and it does have very nice sound. I think the equalizers are spot on in terms of what I was looking for and I am using for equalizer for a headphone amplifier and I think it works great for that and was able to raise the midrange some and the next bass a bit and even the treble and then the low bass a small amount and the highest treble and it works great. I am using for monitor headphones and so that further brings out the vocal which is necessary sometimes when using monitoring sidepathed headphones off a vj system and so this is very nice. I think the price is pretty good for a unit and there are very few choices and this is an equalizer that works as a 6 band equalizer in close to a 1/2 rack setting and just a little larger which was fine. Thanks for having this device and it works good and I hope to get to use for a lot of years and I am sure it work fine because it sounds very clean and so does the equalizer itself when setting the equalizer. This eq has been bouncing in and out of my Amazon cart for months. Absolutely underwhelmed with the audio quality coming out of my Denon PMS-600NE amp I was very reluctant to buy another piece of gear to tack on to my long list of mediocre audio equipment. I grew up with a Luxman L3 amp and Allison bookshelf speakers that blew most of my friends home stereo setup away. Sure I’ve heard modern stereo equipment that sounded as good, for $5k! What the heck, Amazon has a good return policy so if the Schiit sounded like….well I’d return it in a heartbeat. I set up the Lokius eq to a channel switcher and ran a nice quality streamer and my so-so Denon CD player through the eq and into the aux channel of my Denon amp. I can now say my stereo sound is close to what I enjoyed many years ago. I am THRILLED with my set up and that says ALOT! BUY IT AND TRY IT!!

I was skeptical about this idea to add a EQ to my music equipment but was wrong! Thanks to Schllt Audio I’m able to hear more details from my sources. Build as a tank, sounds very good. only one complaint if I don’t lower the volume on my dac I’m having popping noise to the speakers, but I can manage it and not have the volume very high on my dac.
