The media could not be loaded. I installed these alongside a remote dimmer encased in diffuser channels and they came up a treat.The adhesive has held up well but I don't know it would stick so well to wood and other porous surfaces. It's labelled as 3M so you can expect high quality adhesives.As far as functionality is concerned, they dim smoothly with no flickering and diffuse evenly. They run very bright so in my opinion, the addition of a dimmer is a necessity.The strip cuts easily with a pair of scissors and the tabs at each section allow you to cut back the waterproofing silicone and solder wires on very easily. The strip is thin however so low contact with heat is suggested as I burned through a section during my project.I can't comment on colour options as I purchased warm white but I am satisfied they don't add blue light to any evenings spent in the garden or outside on my balcony. They have, however, held up rather well in wet and cold weather but I do have them in diffuser channels so I wouldn't know their full waterproof capability.All in all, they run very well, bright, flicker free so for that reason I believe the LED strips offer excellent value. If you’re after a run of the mill light it works.If you’re buying this as it’s advertised as CRI80 and 4200k don’t!I plugged these into a reliable 12v source (110w psu) all rolled out and at first thought no way this is bright enough for 600 led’s. Looking at the wattage on the PSU, it states 14w draw. 14w draw for 5m of 600 led’s of 2835 is not right at all. I’d expect that from 300 leds.Also the colour is NOT 4200k, it’s more of an uneven pink/ blue. Really horrible cold light and each diode seems to emit different levels of brightness.I’ve got another set of 300 6000k with CRI80 and they look like pure white and objects look like they should.My advice is avoid to be honest. Cheap QC if they’re suppose to be what they’re being described.Also SMD 2835 is suppose to be a certain size. These seem a lot smaller than 2835 when compared to another branded version.
