Simply hilarious - the second Nicolas volume I've come across - it won't be the last.

I bought this after seeing the recent film. If you want to polish up your French and get a laugh as well, this is the book for you.

Really good for practice when you have been learning French for a couple of years.

The Folio edition has high quality paper and the font is big enough. Pleasant to read. We also intentionally buy this series by collections. We have the first three collections in one book (also by Folio) and the reading of it was much slower. Maybe the size of the book is more intimidating. So we switched to buying each collection under separate cover. Le Petit Nicolas et les copains is as good as all other stories about Nicolas. My kid read the entire book in one day. Once she's done, we give the books about Nicolas to friends to read. And we also buy copies to give people as a gift. Excellent gift. Put everyone (kids and adults) in a good mood.

I once used this book while living and working in a French-speaking country to help me brush up on the language. I found that children’s books were a good beginning, plus the stories made me giggle. I ordered this for fun.
