Their chemistry is off the charts, but what truly sets this book apart is the depth of their emotional connection.The relationship between Kai and Isabella is hands down one of the healthiest and most mutually supportive I’ve ever seen in a romance novel. Unlike many stories where drama or misunderstandings drive the plot, King of Pride focuses on a relationship where both characters bring out the best in each other. Isabella’s spirited, impulsive personality doesn’t diminish Kai’s composed nature; instead, they learn from one another and grow in ways that feel realistic and deeply satisfying. The balance between them is perfect—Kai grounds Isabella when needed, and she helps him see the value of spontaneity and stepping out of his comfort zone. [NO-SPOILER REVIEW]:king of pride by ana huangfor a long while, i thought my love for books diminished. i thought i no longer felt connected to words because i felt so out of touch with myself. over the past couple of months, i have read numerous books that i believed would help me back into reading (since university was so keen on making sure i didn’t read anything but my textbooks), but nothing worked.no matter how many books i read, nothing made me fall in love with words again.that was until i began to read king of pride by ana huang. deep down, before i even bought the book, i knew her writing would bring the old reader out of me and i was right.ana huang brought me back to life with isabella and kai.i have so many things i want to say about these two characters, but no words will ever be enough to describe how incredible, how selfless, how admirable these two are.kai is so perfectly made to be my dream man. i want ana to write me a man, please. i desperately want one written by her cause this world is not offering anything GOOD 😭the forbidden romance trope in this book is one that makes you feel the tingles because you know they’re gonna get caught but the tension is so damn HOT you just need to have them together.also, no offence to kai or isabella, but monty stole the show. for sure. 100% my favourite character from ana huang’s series (petition for monty to get more screen time please and thank you).overall, my favourite book of this year. the only person that can top this book is ana huang herself.

The book is awesome and an avid reader would love it. Was so skeptical to order after reading the comments of overwriting torn and missing pages but fortunately my book is in a perfect condition.
