Incredibly sturdy and versatile
I used to use a narrow spade with serrated side, but the metal was so thin it kept bending. The metal on this knife is SUPER thick and sturdy. I use this everywhere in the garden now. I can cut out grass around sprinklers and along curbing, can easily pry up any weed, and easily install drip system stakes into compacted soil.

Strong and works better than expected
Woah! I always read reviews to make my decisions about purchases, so if you’re like me, then rest assured, this gardening knife is excellent! I was actually surprised at how sturdy it is. The blade is thick and notched with a measuring guide. The handle is plastic, but strong and has a soft rubber grip for stability and safety. I purchased several different items from Corona. They are all great. Pricing is more reasonable than most. Happy gardening!

Great for dividing day lilies and cutting through shrub roots.
Never really thought about buying a Hori knife but glad I did. Been using this Corona CT15409 Hori Garden Knife for a couple of seasons. Plenty strong and holding up well. No tarnish or rusting, and still sharp.

Very sturdy does the job well
There is one other hoary that is better than this one but honestly it is nominal this is a wonderful tool. A little big for my smaller hands.

It does a little of everything.
What can you say, about a knife that does a little of everything. Use it to dig a small hole, scrape weeds, cut small branches, cut string. Its a handy knife and quite sharp . I am happy to have it.

Love this new tool!!
I love this, and wonder why I've not had anything similar in the past... While I haven't had it very long, I think it's perfect for a whole bunch of things that I've done and need to get done in the yard and around the house. I'm gonna carry it on the tractor, too. It'll cut broken branches, it'll dig, it'll weeds, it'll open boxes, it'll pry stones and rocks, it'll do all the things I regret using the hand transplanter to do! (I've had to replace the transplanter - I abused it and by used it unreasonably hard for things not related to gardening. I broke it, and I think I learned not to use it like the proverbial pliers and baling-wire. This bad-boy, though... ) Recommended!

Haven't used it long and the blade is chipped
We gave our new Corona a run for it for a couple of days helping some friends on their property. Everyone was using it on and off for various things and it was handy, but I noticed that the blade had chipped. I have another brand of Hori knife that I've been using for a couple of years, doing the same kind of tasks that we did with the Corona and it has no chips. I do love Corona paintbrushes.
