MOFEEZ 52" x 90" Swing Set Replacement Tarp for Play Set Outdoor, Polyester Oxford Fabric, Green

This canopy can be used as a replacement on the WalMart Mainstays RUS487M. Our canopy ripped in the last snowstorm; we needed a replacement. The company 'Mainstays" aka polywares.com is out of business, so a replacement canopy is no longer available. The original canopy measured 89" x 56"; this canopy from MOFEEZ measures 90" x 52". So, it is a little loose, but acceptable. and it is a few inches short. But it works! So our WalMart swing set RUS487M gets some more use and we did not have to throw it away.

My son pushed on the tarp and it popped off the ring.

Has held up for a few years. perfect for swingset.

Needed a replacement and this was the closest to the size that we could find.

It’s been up since May (8 mo.) with no fading or tears.

First, let me start by saying that the product shipped quickly, and the tarp itself is made of a really durable material. When you see these playground swing sets in catalogs, at Walmart, and at Costco, you’re under the impression that they’re all pretty standard. Unfortunately, the accessories are not. Our roof top tarp looks more like a table runner on the roof. By the time we were able to get our product on top of the playground, after winter snow and in time for the beginning of spring, our return window had expired. Now I’m stuck with a non-fitting, table-runner-looking, but durable, product for our swing set.

The tarp itself is very sturdy and thick. It was as easy to install as I expected (you’ll need clamps if doing it alone). The ONLY thing I would say wasn’t the best is that the wood I was working with for install was 1” thick so I had to use alternate screws but that aside I’m very happy with my purchase. I actually measured about 4” too short but I was able to drop the top board down to make the tarp fit all the way across and putting the tarp in the sun helped a lot with making it moveable so I could fold the edges to fit properly in my play structure. All in all though a great item and I would highly recommend.

We built our play set 30 years ago for our children and have refurbished it for our grandchildren to use. The original plastic slide and handles and other attachments have cleaned up beautifully, but we needed to replace the tarp/roof. Prices range from $7 to $70. I wanted good value and quality, but didn’t want to spend a lot for a visit that will last just a few days. This is a very durable, tarp like cover. It looks as well made as the one it replaced that lasted decades. My husband did not use the hex bolts to attach it to the structure as he didn’t want to make holes that large or have them stick out any further than the cover, but they were also good quality. This is better than many others of similar price available on Amazon and elsewhere. The only very slight con is that the yellow color is not as vivid as the illustrations suggest. Not a problem for me.
