I bought this to try after looking at several different options on Amazon. What I wanted was a light that would wake me up with the light as others seem to only have a timer countdown after switching on and as you're meant to benefit most in the first half hour of waking I wanted one to wake me up. It is timeable by hours so if want 8hrs sleep it'll come on at full light and with music if you choose. It is a bit of a shock to be blasted with 10000 lux to wake up but nicer than a beeping alarm!I have deducted a star as I wanted one to hold a charge which doesn't seem to exist AND because it's not a gradual light up to full intensity which would mimic a natural wake up to light/dawn.For the price though I'm very pleased with size, ease of use, choice of music, option to wake up, option to have a blue light or pink light, option to have 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50mins of light on a countdown.(However it doesn't do what my Lumie does which is considerably more money, which wakes me at a time of my choice, with a gradually (over half hour) increasing light intensity- BUT that didn't wake me so I had to use the alarm feature on the Lumie).

I loved this product for the first couple of months, and found the alarm really good, then it went wrong, and the alarm didn't work, so returned it and got another, this time it went wrong in a month, this would be perfect, if it didn't break.
