hot water again - lovely !
The shower was running cooler and cooler so I tried to strip the shower head but couldn't find any makers descriptions. After removing the centre allen key I found the code HG 94282. at which point I rang the local plumbers merchants who "don't stock Hansgrohe" - so on to Amazon who delivered the following day (Sunday). So a couple of learnings - I didn't need to switch off the water supply before removing the centre allen key - the HG 94282 fits a lot of shower units, including other brands - this unit needs a 24mm wrench - and my socket set fit over the top of the piece that protrudes - anti-clockwise to remove - mine had been there for 15 years so it was pretty tight - you will need to switch off the mains water and drain the tanks before switching ! had a lovely hot bath after replacing !

Perfect replacement at a reasonable price.
i was a little concerned about this being the right spare part but I should not have worried because it fitted my bath and shower unit perfectly and was very easy to fit. Don't bother with a plumber, fit it yourself. Hot water is restored!

Cartridge change after 23 years...
Well, we got a Hansgrohe shower installed when we built our house in 2000. Now, 23 years later we noticed very poor water flow after changing the shower pump. The plumber insisted the pump was working perfectly. So I investigated further and decided to see if i could order a replacement cartridge. Turns out these cartridges are still available! Granted its not cheap but after this long I'm amazed i can still order one. I removed the old one which i noticed was much heavier and covered with lime and calcium deposits. Installed the replacement and ... It works perfectly. Water flow restored. I'll post a new review in 2046 when i replace it again. Well done Hansgrohe.

Worked well in a Huppe shower cubicle
My old Huppe shower was getting colder and colder. It took a while to find that the thermostatic was in fact a Hansgrohe. Once fitted the shower was once again warm! Yay!!

Not as pictured. All plastic. Expensive
Not as advertised. It's all plastic no brass nut on the end. And now over £90.

Plastic, not brass as original installed (in 2009). I was skeptical on first inspection because it is shorter than the original brass part. But installed easily and works perfectly.

Spitzenqualität vom deutschen Hersteller und passgenau wie das Original. Wenn dieses Ersatzteil in der Armatur verbaut ist, funktioniert diese wieder wie am ersten Tag. Die Montageanleitung ist hervorragend gut (allerdings nur Bilder, kein Text), aber wer keine zwei linken Hände hat, kann sich an den Wechsel herantrauen. Regelverhalten ist einwandfrei, die Temperaturen stimmen wie eingestellt.

Convient pour ma colonne de douche Pharo Hansgrohe même si la pièce d'origine est en laiton et plus grande celle-ci fonctionne parfaitement .
