These pens have twin tips, one thick and one thin. I have tried both, but prefer the thin tip for the best clarity. Have only been using them for a few days, so have no idea if they will suffer from drying out. All I can say is that the tops, at both ends of the pen, have very firm caps which appear to seal very well. So, provided you don't leave the tops off, then they should hopefully last.

I liked the choice of two sizes of nib. The set is rather cheap and cheerful and the Blue and the Green pens at the fine nib end have partially clogged or dried out even though the cap has remained firmly on between uses. There is no shortage of ink as the thick end of each works perfectly. Maybe the nib system sticks but I got them both going again by scribbling and the ink did return but not very strongly so writing is watery. So for those two colours they're really now only usable at the thick nib end. Anyhow they do the job for my requirements well enough so I can't condemn them to a low rating.

The previous pens (another brand) have decided to all finally dry up. These appear to be a good buy with both fine and medium tips for writing on CDs and DVDs.I have also found them useful for permanently marking other this, such as on painted surfaces.

Well made. Good nibs,lids & colour. Seem like they will last.

Okay for the price but one end of one of the pens dried up within a short time
