Not remotely disappointed
I bought the 2pk of remotes. I only tried to use one. However, I am taking pictures for our church directory and I used it all day from 9:00am to 5:00pm. It worked great. I had to inquire from the internet how to configure my camera to use it, but that was quickly found and it has worked non-stop since. It is apparently supposed to work from the front of the camera, but all I had to do was press the button on the remote when the remote was held just a little in front of the camera's shutter release button. It was not necessary to put it in front of the lens. It kept me from moving the camera at all when I took pictures. This does not cost very much and it really helps me take better photos. I love it.UPDATE: I used it for another full session of pictures and again it worked flawlessly. And then I realized something even better. If I take a picture pressing the camera's shutter release, not only do I risk moving the camera, but I really cannot tell how far I will have to push the button down before the shutter is released. I could miss a critical shot. However, with this remote shutter release. The second I press the remote button, the shutter releases. And the remote button does not have a long press to fire it. It is like a hair trigger. A quick press and the picture is taken. I have a monitor connected to my camera so I can see the subjects whose pictures I am taking and as soon as I see they all have a smile, bang, I have the picture. This is such a great thing to have. So, now I love this remote even more.

Works well on old Nikon D60 DSLR.
The remote control works fine on my old Nikon D60 DSLR as a remote shutter release. That is all I have used it for to this point. It does not work on an Olympus E410 DSLR.

works great
I am using this with a nikon d7100. It works great. One issue.... to keep in mind is that the longest setting for keeping your camera in standby mode...(as near as I can tell) and ready to shoot with this shutter release is 15 minutes. Something I didn't realize at first, I had thought that the camera would remain on, ready to shoot, until the battery ran out. Anyway..that is a Nikon issue. As for this, worked great, easy setup. Have not tested the range on it yet, but works from 10-15 feet.

Not working out of the box
The items arrived Friday, and they were sent back on Saturday. Do not bother. One worked as advertised, the other, NOTHING. I changed the battery with the remote battery that worked, still nothing. I had a package of batteries unopened, put one in, nothing. There small, which is fine with me, they feel a little cheap, but after the first one worked, I thought I could get use to the size. But the second one wouldn't work, and I'm not paying $20 for one remote, so there going back. I will bite the bullet and buy an authorized Nikon remote, pay a little more, but at least I know it'll work. Buyer beware.

works great - no transmitter needed for D3300
I went to the Nikon website and searched for how to change settings on the model I'm using and it worked perfectly.Keep looking for instructions and you'll figure it out - excellent value

Best Buy for the Price
I ordered the 2 PC set, and only tried one thus far. The remote did exactly what I was looking for and tested on a Nikon D5100 and D7200 without too much trouble. Would rate this 5 stars, but noticed the trigger on the one I had opened started to become weaker or not work at all on some presses (within 8ft)....my assumption is the battery doesn't last as long after continuous use within a 1-2 hour period.

Shaky Hands? No more!
Folks, you spends hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on a DSLR and all the accessories that come with it. What use is it if you have shaky hands? Well FotoTech, adjust your camera on a tripod/stand, stand back and click away. Can the product be made any lighter, simple, easy to setup and carry with you? I guess not.I got mine delivered within 3 days, and it works great. Definitely recommended.

Battery doesn't last
I bought new batteries before I left on my trip and after putting the battery into the remote I used the camera twice with no problems. Two weeks later, the remote will not work. I have to pair it after I turn the camera off, every time. I paired it and it wouldn't work until I replaced the battery. Anyone else have this problem? Camera is a Nikon D3400.
