Terrific product. I bought it to see if I was snoring when I slept. It very effectively picked up the kind of light snore that everyone does when one sleeps. It is sensitive enough to record the sound of the air conditioner, thus came on every time it kicked in. But if you want it to be sensitive enough to hear what I'll call "sleep breathing" as well as actual snoring (thus discern the difference), this can certainly do that.It is very easy and intuitive to operate. A simple On and Off switch. With the switch off, it plugs into the USB port on your computer to charge. Switch it On when you want it to activate when there's a sound that "wakes" it. A charge allows it to operate for the advertised 12 hours and even longer. It's also easy to plug it back into the USB port to listen to the recordings. I have a Windows 10 operating system and it plays through Media Player as would any recording.

This is the second time buying from this company, and I can not believe how effective this product is.For the price you would think that this may not work too well, but you would be so wrong ! Comes packaged in a real nice tin, it includes a wrist strap if you want to use that. I bought this one to record meetings at work, we have a very large room at work, and it was flawless! So simple to use, stuck the USB stick in my computer to charge, then put the cap back on, turned it on, and bam ! thats it. It is voice activated, so as soon as it heard the first noise it started recording. This little recorder is super sensitive, not only did it pick up every word in the meeting, it picked up telephones ringing in the other room. I highly recommend this recorder. It is super easy to use, for the price it delivers high quality recordings, and the company provides great customer service. When you purchase this, they email you an e-book with very detailed instruction if you need them as well as troubleshooting tips, and suggestions on the many ways to use the recorder. 5 Stars all the way around, I will be ordering from them in the future !

This was a great choice. It works perfect. I needed to see if my fiancé was lying to me and I hid it and it captured every word. I also heard the tv but when he talked it was loud enough for me to hear. I really didn’t need to hide it because he would have never known it was recording him. I really recommend this recorder.

Wow, things have changed since the 70s when I bought a tape recorder from Radio Shack. This little beauty is capable of so much more. It is the size of a thumb drive, but the recording fidelity is flawless, both from my speaking and playing music and playing the recording back. Easy to set up and to use. Comes in a handy metal protective case, has a USB plug attached directly to the recorder, and a cover to protect the plug. Good investment, well worth it.

While the description says that this recorder is voice activated, I believe that is misleading. The recorder is actively recording any time that the switch is turned to the ON position. Very disappointed as the voice activated feature was the biggest reason that I purchased this product.However, the audio quality for what is recorded is very good. If the voice activation feature actually worked, I would gladly give this 5 stars, but as it does not work, I can only give one star.

It is really compact device. Very easy to use. Battery life is impressive.I have recorded sound in different locations, I can recognize voice everywhere except metro station car.Recorded audio quality is not perfect, it is not like studio recording microphone, but voices are clearly understandable.There is extra possibilities for additional noice reduction because of 384 kbps 48 kHz WAV format.

Spend a little more and get a better quality recorder. The voice recording is background noise to the internal noise of this unit so it never stops recording and it is impossible to remove the internal noise from the recording. A decent recording is only made if the speaker is within 5 feet of the unit.

works great, picks up sound very well. easy to operate, just switch to on and works. battery lasted for the 3 hours i tested.
