Lytham St Annes Soap Workshop Bakewell Tart Wax Melt Bar

It smells just like warm cherry cake (Bakewell tart!) It's really sweet and sugary, but I'm into that. I've read that people only burn 2/3 cubes of the chocolate like bar it comes in, but due to my burner being large and the wax pooling low, I but in 6 cubes (half the bar) It filled the room and most of house within the hour and it just smells like I've been baking in the kitchen all afternoon.Comparing it to Yankee melt tarts, I would say that it does come close to that in terms of smell and staying in the air. I'm a massive Yankee Candles fan -but sometimes I dislike the cost! I know this was slightly more then a tart, but in effect you get like 2 or 3 tarts once you've broken it up. So the cost is cheaper. I'm interested to how many more melting hours I can get out of it and if the scent fades or not. (I've found that Yankees can last a lot longer then it states and I've had none of them that have lost there scent so far) I'll be updating this post on that as soon as I've found the answer.I'm also going to look and see what other products the seller has because I'd be very interesting to buy more.I would say that if you are looking for a present/s (Christmas seems to be here again) for people who love candles/melters then to give these a go because they'd be perfect. :)

I bought this flavor, along with a few others, and each one is divine. They rival the more expensive brands, and with the wide variety of flavors and their longlasting smell, these wax melts are fantastic. They make great gifts, and I'm about to place another order ready for Christmas. I've gifted a few to my mum and mum-in-law, and they both loved them. The smell is amazing and quite strong sadly it doesn’t last long. But Definitely ordering again to try other smells

In these wax melts, not just me but my mother has found a new addiction. We might have gone a little bit overboard in ordering from the supplier. The smells are amazing, such a range of them too. Easy to break chunks as well which I do struggle with other brands. We tend to use three chunks in total for a melt but easy to top up with a single chunk to boost smell when it starts to wane, though given the range they have we both actually struggle not to switch smells to see what another one is like. Smell normally lasts 4 hours or so if burning continually but as I said easy to top up with an extra chunk.I bought for myself and use in an electric wax melt burner. I bought one for my mother and gave her a selection of these as well to start her off. The seller twice now due to the quantity I have bought, has added a free sample of another flavour too which I thought was really nice of them and it makes you feel valued as a customer even through the facelessness of online.

I've heard quite mixed reviews on the wax available from this vendor since purchasing.Smell wise I found this bar strong before I'd even opened the packaging, it has a lovely color too which is far less. Important but pleasing for the eyes I guess.I used three chunks in a glade burner and was initially. Impressed at how strong the scent was, could smell it throughout my home.Scent wise, once burning it smells more like bubblegum than Bakewell to me. Bubblegum with a few almond notes.Also a bit disappointing that after two hours the smell dissappeared and it was left smelling wax crayons.No CLP label either.At £1.99 a bar though it slightly redeems its self, had it been more expensive I'd probably be annoyed.

Honestly, I am so impressed. I never leave reviews for things but I have just received my order this morning and I have three squares in my wax burner. I simply cannot believe the strength of the fragrance and how GOOD my house now smells. I didn't think for a second that the quality would be so good at this price but it truly is. If I had used just one square, i think i'd still be saying the same thing. What amazing value for money, I will DEFINITELY buy again. In fact, I might buy again right now, that's how impressed I am. I'm a huge Yankee fan but I’ve never been able to smell their wax tarts as strongly as this!
