This product enhances the image. It will not add detail that is not there but it does a great job sharpening an image while also increasing contrast. Giving a nice looking result. The settings in Darbee range from 0 to 120%. If the image is of very poor quality it will not help much. If the image quality is good then it will Improve the image. The key is not to over apply, keep it in the 1 to 40% range and it will yield good results. Any image can be ruined with over processing whether it is a still photo or video. Photoshop does a fantastic job for still photos with good images, By the same token, one can easily destroy an image with Photoshop by applying too much saturation, hue, contrast, curves, and sharpening with incorrect settings for threshold /radius/amount, etc.. The same applies to Darbee. It's an image processor, that can be adjusted while watching a movie or TV from the comfort of your chair with the provided remote.
