Excellent product. Well worth the cost
I had read glowing reviews of this product in Sound & Vision magazine several months ago, but was still skeptical and didn't pull the trigger. However, when Oppo came out with a Darbee enhanced blue ray player, that give it credibility. I have had extremely good results with the two Oppo players that I have owned, so if they think the Darbee improves the picture, I believe it. After plugging the unit in and inserting it between the processor and the display, the results are outstanding. In demo mode, the sharpness of the picture is definitely enhanced. It was very easy to install and the results were instant and dramatic. It worked just as well with 3D source material as with a standard 2D blue ray. I highly recommend this product.

OK for BD HD movies but for Cable HD movies does nothing!
Too much grain or picture noise on ALL BD HD movies. Great@ HD movies but artefacts , grain etc. not worth the money. Hard to tell if its DarbeeVision or the film transfers. Was not worth the money since I watch a lot of BD movies.

Essential product after living with it for awhile
I read a lot of reviews about the Darblet before making my purchase. It seems the praise is nearly unanimous. And for good reason. For reference, I'm using an Epson 8350 projector on a 106" screen. I was and still am very happy with the quality of picture this projector puts out, but the Darblet brings it to a whole new level. It really is like a veil is removed. I have mine set at 65% on HDTV and have pretty much left it there. For me, this has been a set and forget component. There's nothing that indicates anything is in the video chain until it's turned off. I have no doubt that if Darbee sent sample units to 100 people to try for a week, it would result in sales in the high 90's percentage-wise.

JUNK! SHADY COMPANY!
Don't waste your money! The product is as I thought JUNK, and the company is even worse! The product did work at first then it just died after a few months and won't power on. The company states on their website, "We Stand Behind Our Products" and "Your Satisfaction is Our Goal"........don't believe it!! I tried to contact the company through email and their website MANY times, but they NEVER replied. You spend $300, they take your money, give you a piece of junk that will fail in a few weeks to months and you are left out in the cold. Their website should say, "We Hide Behind Our Products" or "Your Satisfaction Is No Concern of Ours". No respectable company would hide from their customers when their product which they say has a 1 year warranty stops working after a very short period of time. The first clue when dealing with a company is "Do they have a phone number", when they don't, like this company, RUN away as fast as you can!
