Vileda 3 Action Broom, Red

I have a very big area of hard floors, almost whole house. To back up use of vacuum I need a day to day sweep up of the dust that gathers at the edges of these floors.....normally absorbed by a carpet. Good to be able to be dust free, but need a good broom as well as vac. This is my fourth try in a few years and best so far. Sweeps fine as well as bigger debris really well. Very pleased. Almost no accumulation of 'dust clumps' on the bristles.....a constant problem with other brooms, including an expensive one, I was always 'defluffing' past models on outside brick wall! No longer! Another reviewer spoke of only one way sweeping possible. This is true but alongside it's very good efficiency, I find this no problem at all. And I think this feature helps to keep the bristles straight. Bristles that curl with use become less efficient and begin to harbour lots of dust clumps....ugh!

arrived promptly performs well with a clever mix of bristles. only time will tell how long it lasts but so far it does every thing I would expect of quality indoor broom. I'm short (5"1") so the handle is quite long but I opted for a one piece handle as over time the adjustable ones get worn and slip so I would say this is a usable broom for all but the very tall and the very short - hey its a broom what more do you want to know?

Good sturdy broom, long handle and really easy to use. It's also very light too, so doesn't hurt your back trying to sweep up

I have had this broom 2 years now and it’s as good as it was, if not better. I just discovered last week it stands up on its own!! Another bonus…..I’m just hoping now that it might start sweepin on its own!!

It's a broom, until I had this, I used a different broom, Id had it for years, so I thought I'd treat myself, and wow, what a treat, this broom brushes and sweeps AND SWEEPS! it's a lively red colour and the bristles are amazing, the help with the brushing and sweeping. I must say I was concerned that there was a lack of instructions, however, once you have the sturdy and firm rod in your hands it just becomes natural, very intuitive, I pushed the broom, I pulled the broom, I pushed it again, like I've been doing it for years. Until now, I've felt I was an amateur sweeper, but since this broom arrived, it's taken my sweeping and brushing to the next level. This truly is a +2 broom of sweeping. Oh, did I mention the bristles are different colours? No, cause it would melt your tiny human brain! Coloured bristles? What next? Rubber corners to stop damage to the skirting boards? What? It has that too? Now I'm dreaming! Since owning this broom, I've become more attractive to others, more confidant at work and I smell better too, my kids respect me, my wife says 'no' less and 'yes' more and I stay harder for longer! It might just be placebo, but I wish I'd owned this broom when I was in my 20s. CHANGE YOUR WORLD, BUY THIS BROOM!

Purchased to use mainly on lino kitchen floor. It works great for that purpose but just as good on tiles and even short pile carpet. I wouldn't use it outside as it is too soft and would spoil the clean sweep I get inside the house.The description says it all really and it may be a bit more expensive than a pound shop item but it's built to last longer and the bristles are not going to splay after a few months of use.Price varies enormously depending on who is selling it. Mine came via Amazon and with a handle but you can buy the Vileda handles separately and they are interchangeable.

We have a Newfie pup who sheds continuously. The hoover being out at least three times a day to cope with the black tumbleweed style fur balls that were rolling across the floors. I've just had a quick whip around with this brush and I can't believe how well it picks up the hair. It picks it up and holds the hair on the brush so I can take it all off and bin it in one swoop. The bristles make it really easy to get the hair out from too. Not that it's going to replace hoovering but it's great to have something for a quick fur ball fix. We have hardwood, tile, laminate and short pile rugs, this brush works a treat on all surfaces.

Vileda products are great. It does exactly as it says in the description, it has unique bristle technology for improved cleaning performance on all indoor floor surfaces, Laminate or Lino. The Fine black bristles sweep up dust and fine particles like my old brush never done. The grey bristles in a rectangular formation for better hair and particle removal and the stiffer angled red bristles for corner cleaning. The Rubber bumpers do help protect furniture from accidental damage. A recommended broom for the house.
