How do you open the battery box?!??

If you look at the box with the words Timer On Off It is the 2 tabs to the left of the words. A bit stiff but they do open.

What are the dimensions of the battery compartment please? TIA

It holds 3 AA batteries, basically the battery holder is just a little bit bigger than 3 AA batteries held flat next to each other!!!

Hi there i bought these lights a few days ago and they have started flickering for some reason is this normal?

I've purchased 6 sets, 4 of them bought last week all fine but the last 2 received yesterday are flickering, really annoying. Nothing to do with the batteries must just be a faulty batch? The others are amazing.

How do you set timer had to turn them off after 6and a half hours

Hello. The battery box has 3 buttons on it - on, timer, off (top to bottom). Simply use the middle button (timer) on the battery box to switch the lights on and they will switch off automatically after 6h, and come back on again the next day at the same time they were initially switched on.
