Does what its suppose to do.
Although the item was a little flimsy, with some poor plastic bolts , it does the intended job. Should be priced a lot cheaper given the quality of the materials used in its manufacture.

Unpredictable, sometimes broken, products
It is clearly random which product you end up receiving. Our first one was strong, not bent and the perfect size and lasted a few years before the screw thread went on the top part.We replaced it with the 'indentical' order only to receive a wider product which is of no use to us, and which was bent as other reviewers have noted. This was also an opened box item, probably from some other unsatisfied customer.Just not worth ordering from here.

Poor quality, bent and falling apart
This is the worst quality idli plate I've ever seen in my life (even including the ones from roadside stalls) - one of the plates is so bent that when batter is poured inside it, it flows off the side. The plate also can't stand by itself when batter is being poured, because it's misshapen. So you'll need to hold the plate with one hand while pouring batter with the other.I do not recommend this item, unless you're really desperate for idli. Oh, and the screw/shaft that holds the 3 plates together also broke. Was anyone quality-testing this at all during manufacturing?
