Me gustó mucho

Wow!
When I tell you I read this book in a few hours - I just could not put it down. The relationship between the two main characters feels so genuine and so sweet that I couldn’t help but root for them. Reminded me somewhat of the Netflix film “Moxie” which I adore and hope to find more books like this one!

Book Review
This was an amazing book!In terms of breaking barriers and educating people on what feminism really means this was amazing. I've always seen myself as good activist, but this book changed my high opinion of myself. Taught me the little ways in which I might still have internalized a patriarchal life state of mind. But, it also showed me how perfection isn't needed, but being thoughtful is what's most important.I highly recommend it!

trigger warning
The misogyny in the first part of the book is generational and systemic. Passive aggressive nastiness put me on edge. Not here to be liked is the perfect title . I didn’t like the most of the characters. I liked the ending but didn’t enjoy reading most of the book.

Feminism isn't about hating men!
It is hard, sometimes, as the harshest critics seem to be other women. When Eliza was skipped over because she was 'too cold and trying to hard but also not trying hard enough at the same time', I'm not going to lie, I felt it hit me hard.Man don't even have to try, but a woman can do her best and will still be considered less.Eliza finds herself leading a revolution at her high school, while at the same time battling her feelings for the very boy she's speaking against. Who knew being a feminist is so hard? She is worried her feelings make her a bad feminist, because she knows she'll be the only one to blame if people find out (which is exactly what happens, naturally). At the same time, she is re-examining her feelings about feminism. Is there only one kind of feminist? She spent most of her life putting people in certain boxes (like all of us do, no matter how vehemently we try to deny it).Serena, who she always thought of as air-headed and obsessed with boys, is suddenly right there at her side, leading the movement. Serena turns out to be very resourceful about turning people to their cause. And her thoughts run surprisingly deep.Eliza has to really think about how she feels about people. And does she really not care what people think about her? This is an excellent story, and I would recommend it to anyone, not just girls and women. Besides being an empowering to women, yet a sweet love story, this book makes you think about how you view the world. I bought the kindle version as soon as it came out (because like usually, I didn't have the money for a paperback) and I regret taking this long to actually read it.

Intelligent fun!
A very perceptive, intelligent funny YA story. In the best sense of it: young and adult. Poetic prose- wise, inspired and inspiring concerning feminism , maybe a bit squeaky clean, but we are talking YA here! If youre in doubt to read this book, just do it, many funny- face moments await! Thank You Michelle!!

Feministic
When people still debating and confused about how to explain the term 'feminism' here comes this novel. This novel has various questions about Shakespeare and misogyny and clearly explains what is feminism.
