Assume tool
I had a very small plastic tube that ran from an irrigation pump to a pressure switch. Could not keep it attached with a variety of hose clamps and flooded basement twice. I saw an ad for this tool and decided to give it a try. It worked like a charm. Used stainless steel wire and tool and clamped fitting. It is never coming off!

Not easy to use at first without practice
Liked that the tool worked as advertised. Bit expensive for what it does.Wingnut REALLY! Give the users something they can put some pressure on without hurting their fingers.No, you have to purchase the larger more expensive one for this creature comfort. NO thanks!Wire nut baffled me until a saw a video with its use. This holds the ends of the SS wire to make threading it back through the loop easier. With a grinder and a turn buckle you can make one of these heavier duty and for far less money. Works but really over priced for what it is.
