THE Best Litter Ever!
8 months ago, we adopted a wonderful 11 year old cat. Our problems started early on, when we realised he was having "accidents".We went to work immediately with vet visits & resolved a urine infection. However, we still had a problem...... We resorted to using puppy pads, changed to "open" litter boxes, increased the number of litter boxes, but with only limited success. We realised that there was more than likely a psychological issue at work, so trawled the internet.Having considered buying sand (as used in play pits), we continued searching. A post written by a cat specialist, mentioned Almo Cat Litter, which she apparently recommends to all cat guardians who are facing toileting issues. Having located a source ie Amazon, with immediate delivery, we changed 2 trays initially (following the guidelines given). Finally, we had success! With 4 cat trays now active with Almo cat litter, we have only had 2 "accidents since changing. The litter is AMAZING!1. NO odour (we scoop to clean as soon as we notice the tray/s have been used)2. Following guidelines, we wait a few minutes after a cat has used the tray - then scoop. No urine marks remain on the base of the tray & it does not stick (It is important to follow the guidelines)3. Following the guidelines, we "top up", but the newest cat prefers that to be completed twice a week, rather than the once which is mentioned!! We like to keep him happy :-)4. There is no need to throw remaining cat litter away as it remains fresh/odour-free5. Although the litter may initially seem expensive, if used as recommended, it really is turning out to be very economical6. Storage space requires for spare litter, is a fraction of that which we needed for our previous litter7. Small bags, but maximum results - we are all VERY impressed - 2 felines included!!!We found it is worth visiting Almo Cat Litter's website - it has a lot of useful information, should you feel unsure about buying.Would we recommend this litter - most definely YES!! Little waste, green credentials & loved by both cats - we could not ask for more.

WOW! BETTER THAN I THOUGHT
This product is amazing. Easy to use. Less mess. Doesn't clog your toilet. The Persian loves it. It captures liquid and solids. It really is worth every penny. But yes, super expensive for a small bag. Not sure if I want to keep buying at the price. Although, it lasts longer than ordinary, as you have to keep changing litter to get rid of smell. It really does reduce the stench. 100% winner for me.

Works in the Litter Robot 4!
After reading probably hundreds of Reddit threads about cat litter, this is the only non-clay, non-silica and natural cat litter I could find that actually works in the Litter Robot 4. It is extremely expensive and makes my house look like a beach in seconds but it means that my cats aren’t breathing in and ingesting toxic chemicals and for that I will do anything. One bag of this is 2-3 times more expensive than clay so it’s a lot to pay.

Best litter for cats with out of the box issues!
This is the best litter my cat have ever used. It doesn't smell, it's clumping capabilities are incredible and it doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter tray. There is absolutely no need to change the whole litter, after removing the clumps and poo, it's enough to add just more. My cat had problems with peeing around the house, I have tried many other known brands so far, and cat pheromones, nothing worked. If your cat had behavioural issues, not health related, you might want to try. The only issue is tracking, even though I have a matt, I have to hoover basically everyday. Still it doesn't mean that I will ever stop using this product.

Great litter
Great product. Urine clamps and easito remove. Poop easy to remove as gets covered in litter. Can flush. Smell at a minimum. Recommend

Hideously expensive, mix it with corn based pellets..
It's hideously expensive to use on its own, difficult to remove and flush as it turns to hard jelly, and made all the way in Brazil. However, mixed in with dustier corn-based clumping litter it works REALLY well. My cats no longer have dusty feet, as long as I mix this in with corn litter at a ratio of about 5-10% (which is cheap, flushes well, and is made in Poland). It really shouldn't be so expensive though, I can't imagine it costs anywhere near £5 to produce a single kg.

Why has it changed?
Can somebody please tell me what on earth has happened to this litter??? It had been a favourite for years, so I was delighted that it was back again after being unavailable for ages. But something really odd has happened to it now - the clumps solidify into something like rubber. They no longer soften when emptied into the toilet and I had to remove them as they would not break up or flush. I dare not risk trying to flush anymore for fear of causing a blockage. Being flushable was one of the main benefits for me and so I was prepared to pay the higher price involved, but if I now have to dispose in the bin I shall need to look for an alternative. So disappointed as my cats and I used to love this litter.
