58mm Magnetic Dosing Funnel - Espresso Coffee Dosing Ring - Anodized Aluminum with 9 Magnetized Steel Compatible with 58mm Portafilter (Tall)

This dosing funnel does its job well, has good fit and finish, and is a good value. Some have complained about the strength of the magnets, but I don't think that is what is limiting how well this device sticks to the portafilter. On my Gaggia portafilter, the rim of the basket sticks up about 3.5 mm above the tabs on either side of the portafilter. The lip on this device is just a little bit longer than that (~3.8mm), so the magnets don't fully contact the steel basket. I don't have a need to turn it over in use, so it is fine for me. If I pull the basket out of the portafilter, it sticks very strongly.I think the magnetic attraction is good enough for my needs, but one could sand down the bottom of the dosing funnel (or file a couple of notches for the tabs) to allow the magnets to contact the steel basket if it is not sticking well enough.Alternately, Mii if you are listening, make the lip about 0.5mm shorter!

The logo was the only part about this funnel I didn't like. Having only used this one funnel, I think the magnets could be a little stronger.

Nicely made, tall and works well. My grounds catcher fits inside. My only knock is the magnets are a little weak. When I tap the portafilter after wdt it can move or get knocked off.

I like this little gadget, it helps me to save coffee spill, I use Virtuoso grinder, it fits nicely to it and avoid the excessive spill.Good product.

The funnel is okay and fits my Rocket portafilter pretty well, but the magnets are very weak and don't hold the funnel on very well. I don't think it's worth the price because of that.

I can turn the portafilter upside down and it won’t fall off. The rim is on the outside of the filter so it doesn’t leave any depression in the dose right along the wall of the filter like some of the dosing funnels which is about the worst place to have soft spots in the puck. This funnel is a keeper and will be my daily.

I decided on this dosing funnel because similar ones were more expensive and I was worried about the quality but it is great. It stays on all of my 58mm portafilters. Is easy to put on, and take off. The only problem I have had is on my stock Gaggia portafilter it doesnt fit exactly so some coffee gets on the top of the portafilter BUT because how this is positioned, it never falls off. Not a big deal because when I take this off i can just use my finger to put the little bit of coffee back into the portafilter. Overall this is a fantastic value.
