Setup was SO easy with clear instructions and many (intuitive) configuration options to get everything just the way I wanted it. I was *temporarily* slightly disappointed that the time display was so bright and kind of lit up my side of the bed in the middle of the night. And then I re-read the instructions and saw that I could easily dim the display! Duh. And the dimmer is on a dial with many choices between very dim and very bright, so I don't have to just choose between low/high like my old clock. There was obviously a lot of thought put into the design -- both the appearance AND the controls. So easy to hit the snooze, turn the alarm/light on and off, etc. The only improvement I could envision would be a few more alarm sounds. There are plenty of sleep sounds, but I wouldn't mind a couple of additional options for wake-up sounds as well (my pup is apparently triggered by chirping birds - lol). Overall though, it's an A+++.

I’ve been using the alarm clock for a little over a month. I purchased this alarm clock as an alternative to using my cellphone. I felt my cellphone alarm clock left me feeling anxious. This alarm clock is a great alternative to the hatch alarm clock. Set up is easy. I kept the small card showing the button functions by my bedside for about 2 weeks. I enjoy the sounds. The sunrise effect is really amazing. Main reason why I bought the clock. I wake up more relaxed. The clock is very customizable. I definitely recommend buying over the hatch. I know the hatch has a few more features, but I think this works just fine and you’ll save money too.

It is a game changer if you have a hard time waking in the dark or being jolted awake with an alarm. It is more of a natural way to wake. It is great for a soothing way to fall asleep with a soothing color of light and/or sound.PROS: Good instruction booklett; Easy to set; 3 nice sounds to wake up to; Lots of sounds to fall asleep to; Has a range of light settings and different colors to fall asleep with and to wake up with; Has time setting for falling asleep and for when waking light comes on; Has bumps on the buttons that makes it easier when groping in the dark or when half asleep; The wake up sound of morning birds has a nice quality; The sleep sound of light beach waves is very comforting and of good quality.CONS: One alarm only, must reset alarm each time you need to wake up at a different time, but it is easy to set; Has a very, very tiny bleed through of the alarm beep sound on other 2 wakeup sounds; I wish it had more than 3 wake up sounds; I didn't like the sounds or quality of a lot of the sleep sounds,All and All, you are getting what you pay for as far as choice and quality of sounds, and the choice of automatically setting different alarms. Luckily, I wanted the bird sound for wake up and enjoy the beach waves to fall sleep. I like all of the different light colors that can be changed in intensity just by turning the dial for going to sleep. It is easy to set up.

It's has enaugh functions. It works perfectly. It writers my mornings with birds singing and sun-like light.

For the price I was skeptical but it feels very high quality, looks great, and works great. I like that it is a sound machine as well as an alarm clock. The gentle wake up from the sunrise feature makes it easier to start the day, overall 10/10.

We finally made our baby’s transition to her nursery, so the Hatch sound machine we’ve been using for the last 7 months is now in her nursery. I didn’t realize how much I liked having a sound machine in my room until I moved her Hatch, so I decided to get myself a sound machine. I especially love how this has a sunrise feature because I’m guilty of hitting the snooze button on my phone over and over until I’m almost late for work. This has a ton of different, soothing sounds to choose from, and I really love how you can easily turn the night light and the clock light down so your room is dark. I like this even better than her Hatch (though I still prefer the Hatch for her so I can control it from my phone). I would definitely recommend this! Very reasonable price for a really great product. It has a ton of features and would be great for adults, kids, or babies.Edited to add: After using this alarm clock for a week, I can say that the sunrise feature is really bright. It’s not a slow transition like I was expecting…it goes from complete darkness (how I have it set) to very bright very quickly. Just a heads up because I was a little caught off guard. It definitely serves its purpose, though.

First I will say, there are some really great videos on youtube that will walk you through setup and use way better than the instruction manual. There are so many things I love about this clock. It isn't huge and the sunrise feature is a nice way to wake up in the morning. My daughter has had the Hatch 1 and 2 and when she saw this in my bedroom she said "mom did you get a Hatch?" There are several color options as well as alarm and noise sounds. I have my alarm set for sunrise only over a 15m period with no alarm sound. It s fantastic. At night, you can easily dim the clock (manually from the back) and the large center bar is a great nightlight. This is a great clock and nails the sunrise feature I was looking for without spending a ton of money.

It's so cute, works super well, and I like to sleep in a really dark room so the stimulated sunrise is AMAZING. It helps me wake up easier and I set my alarm sound to birds chirping. Waking up with a gradual increase of light and the sound of chirping birds has improved my sleep quality. I was waking up in a sense of panic before in a dark room with my horrible Apple alarm sound and I was anxious all morning. Now, I can wake up and have a routine. Truly such a blessing. The timed nightlight is also an incredible feature because I was using my flashlight to get to my bed before since my lightswitch is on the other side of my room but this is definitely much better. You can change the colors and lately I've been falling asleep with the red light because of a TikTok I saw and I have to say.... I am weirdly getting better deep sleep now. This is such an affordable option if you don't want to buy the viral crazy expensive one. I do wish this one had more options for sounds but it's alright.

Me encantó como funciona, sobre todo que la luz va prendiendo gradualmente, lo cual ayuda a no despertarse de golpe como sucede con los relojes mecánicos. Al principio me costaba programar la hora ya que no avanzan los dígitos rapidamente, es cosa de tener paciencia. El diseño es muy agradable y los materiales se sienten de calidad.

Creo que cumple excelente con su función. Se puede personalizar el tiempo en que comienza a encenderse la lámpara, poco a poco. Sólo hay dos detalles que creo que pueden mejorar:1) Si bien tiene una amplia variedad de sonidos para dormir, tiene muy poca variedad de sonidos de despertador. Me hubiera gustado más sonidos de naturaleza.2) El reloj es de luz, lo cual no es malo pero al apagar las luces la lámpara es una fuente de luz que puede incomodar, especialmente a las personas más sensibles. Yo tengo que colocar algún objeto sobre el reloj para tapar la luz.

bought this for xmas gift was concerned it would be tough to figure out based on other reviews- first day was trial second day we got it going!overall easy to use helpful instructions the picture is the sun effect- AMAZING! the sun rises and alarm goes off! the sounds are great- we use the waves and fireplace every night! 10/10 recommend go for it!
