This is a very nice pitcher .. not too big, easy to hold on to, I love the tooled copper look and feel.

I received my copper water bottle today. Immediately washed it and filled it with water. It really is beautiful! I am happy with this purchase, thank you.

I've heard about the use of copper bottles for your water and wanted to try it. You have to be careful with these not to leave the water inside too long and don't use for hot drinks, but they are supposed to be safe and actually healthy in moderation. This bottle fits the requirements for safety and also looks beautiful as a vase or piece of art on display, as the copper is shiny and brilliant. Unfortunately this one came with a long scratch on the outside and a few small dents and a smaller scratch -- mostly on the bottom and on the topper. None of the damage is severe, but it's there. The box it arrived in was obviously knocked about and is definitely not attractive as is for a gift. If you care more about the inside than the box, it's good, but check it over first for damage before you gift it. Because of the extreme reflective qualities of the copper, my photos of the damage are not easy to discern. The top is nice and large, easy to hold and open/close, and feels natural in your hand. Both parts are easy to clean with a bottle brush, but don't use a nylon or scratchy one-- sponge or cotton only so you don't damage the finish (which admittedly is not nearly as perfect and shiny inside). Overall, it's a lovely bottle at a good price and worth it if you want a copper water bottle or to give a unique gift. I'd recommend putting the bottle into a basket or box with tissue paper, a couple of bottles of water, a soft cotton bottle brush and maybe a few small eatable treats or some silk flowers. That would be a beautiful gift set that almost anyone could love.(I wish I could give it a 4.5 rating rather than a 4.0, but the few areas of damage don't warrant a 5.0, but it really is a great basic bottle!)

The look is OK. The screw cap leaks! Also it is cranky noisy twisting to open and close the cap.
