Is the rope suitable for outdoor use, on concrete?

We have been using our during lockdown on concrete, the outer protection has come away and the rope is now literally whipping through our flesh. We are putting it in the bin and buying a new one. Long story short I'd say not made for concrete.

Is the rop suitable for kids (7 years) ?

It is suitable for kids after you adjust the length which it took me less than 5 min to do. I hope that helps

How thick us the wire that has to be cut for adjustment?

You may not need to cut the wire as you can pull off the handle caps...pull the wire out and adjust the length and then push it back into the handle... if you do need to cut a lot off then the plastic coated wire is approx 1/8" thick. Hope this helps.
